Anyone else notice the video credits? Ruffryders Nastynorthriderz etc.

Most of the URL's are dead. One leads to a forum that is basically just spam and the other actually leads to a site that has recent content and is advertising this...whatever this is.

Blocko is a big annual meetup. Parking lot, food vendors and contests.

Aha, ok, cool. Not into that crowd so had no idea, and the hashtag and such didn't really seem to dig up much online with an admittedly cursory glance.

Couldn't help but notice. Yrs ago, I got caught up with a pack of these tools heading up the Clairmont. 80% up on one.....then upper james suddenly became Cayuga drags.
I'm not one to pussy about, but there's a time and place, and this clearly wasn't it, especially (daytime) in a group.

Well, there is some safety in numbers. In town, it would be hard for more than a couple to get caught. I agree, it is not the right time or place but from the perspective of getting pinched, it's hard to get a better situation.

This thread to me embodies everything wrong with most "motorcyclists" on this board and probably in the province in general - people who do barely, and can hardly, ride their machines arm-chairing everyone else and totally ready to get on board with authoritarian measures that negatively impact us all as a group.

You see it when lane splitting is mentioned
You see it when threads come up about people riding in a spirit manner on public roads
You can see it in this thread - the group organizers of the ride told people to practice good social distancing and not to hang out and congregate aside from riding - they shouldn't be blamed for a couple of folks (who for all we know are part of the same household) appearing close together in pictures.

"Boot lickers" is sort of mean and nasty, but the shoe fits for a whole lot of people who post here.

A couple? It is in every picture. There is a reason that gatherings of more than 5 people are not allowed in ontario right now. It's because people are dumb and govt knows they wont stay spread out. Publicizing a meet up obviously nets you more than five people. The law has already been broken at that point. Telling them to stay apart obviously didnt work.

You`re out to lunch friend.

However, you`re entitled to your opinion, as are we.

You make generalities about people you don't know. Some of the people here that think this was a bad idea can easily ride the wheels off.

You want to lane split? Fill your boots, but don't ***** if you get a ticket, or a collision.

Define "spirited" mine: up to 20+. You want to do more than that on public roads, I suggest taking it to a track where there are fewer surprises. It isn't always about YOUR skill level, and if people can't understand that, I don't want to ride with them.

I will concede the point, as I wasn't there, that we don't know if there were attendees from the same household.

Organizers have the responsibility to tell people to go home, if they can't follow the rules. That is part of being an organizer, it is their ride, and their obligation.

I've been on large rides in the past, and while I didn't see asshattery, the organizer did, and has stopped doing those rides. I applaud him for that decision.

Heard from whom? I've been to a KSR track day at Grand Bend last season and it was a very well organized and enjoyable experience.
I'd be curious to know as well. We take great pride in the days we put on and after each day send a feedback request form so that we can identify where we can improve. We've received lots of positive feedback, although quite a few suggestions for a second BBQ grill :D
