Grabbing a new helmet.

Re: the "forehead crush" referred to above.

I found a persistent kneeding (sp) to those forehead pressure points helped substantially. A slight "customization" to the interior helped me a lot.

We do not have the Same shaped heads, so a uniform lid will rarely fit the bill 100%

I found that the back end of a screw driver worked best. Work it in till It no longer has the pressure point.
Was waiting for the crowd to jump on this one. I knew it wouldn't sit favourably with the experts here at GTAM.

I've done similar with a few of my lids, I just don't hack at with a screw driver. A slight depression, no more than half a millimeter I reckon, using a thumb, has taken care of hot spots that only show up on a new helmet after an hour or two of riding.

Works for me. Flame on!

^^ Huge difference to working it in a little with your fingers vs using a screwdriver. If you're using method b you need to find a different helmet that fits you properly.

Do whatever you want it's your head but don't start reccomending to people that altering the impact protection of their helmet is the correct way of "fitting" your helmet. 1/2 a mm....lol
