I was trying to do a search on the item # of one of the td rewards products, and I got the "Dev" page, looks like TD may be offering the outdoor gopro hero2 version maybe next week or the week after for $170... looks to be only 75 available if it is right. I'd like you the page, but it looks like they fixed the issue tonight, I now get a forbidden to access page on server when I try to see it
 
so any where we can get em for ~200?

id be in for 2 at that price fo sho

ill check with my future shop contact, find out what it costs them and ask how many we need to get a sub$250 price...if its even possible.

No one did, the company disappeared/went out of business, whatever. Over on Redflagdeals, no one got theirs either. Called this scam from a mile away :cool:
 
The Hero2 is going to be up this week on tdrewards, like I mentioned in post 85.

I won a Keurig Platinum so far... Also went for the laptop so I guess I am batting 50%. If I can get either the gopro or tablet I'll be happy, though gopro is more desirable
 
If any of you are interested, the wholesale price on this camera is $240. I tried to hook up some sort of group deal but at that kind of wholesale it just isn't worth it. The manufacturer did inform me that I should hold off getting a GoPro2 as a new version is in the works.

If we keep waiting, we will never have the UP-TO-DATE electronics! I don't mind the $240 wholesale price. Where can we get some?

the problem is if the distributor gets wind of you selling them at wholesale, they'll stop selling to you. And unless you are Best Buy or Future Shop, there is only one distributor. they have a business model that really evens out the playing field for the little guys, but there's a MAP policy in place. Everyone gets the same cost price, no matter what quantity, but the big box stores deal directly with GoPro. I thought about doing the same thing, opening an account and selling them for way less than the big box stores, but the sales rep basically told us that if they started getting complaints from other retailers they'd simply stop selling to us.
 
If you know someone who works for a company that has contracts with GoPro, or who has access to the GoPro VIP store/Employee Purchase Program, you can get the cameras and accessories for substantial discounts. My friend works at Google, and was able to get me an HD Hero2 and a bunch of accessories at 50%-off MSRP ($150). I'm sure there are other companies who also have a similar arrangement with GoPro.
