Beat me to it - I can't say I had a single favorite, but Kraft Caramels were definitely the ones I dug for in my bag.

Is there any chocolate halloween candy anymore? It all seems to be chocolatey candy bars.
These and Kraft caramels were my favourites. They kept the local dentist in business.
Oh and the little packages of Chiclets
Jolly ranchers are great for cracking teeth and then cementing upper and lower together so you pull shards off as you try to open your mouth.

I can tell you my least favourite was Tootsie Rolls. Being a kid, I still ate them of course
I loved (still do) those, must be the artificial flavour. My kids would leave when they came home after trick or treating, and I would spend the week eating them on a sugar high. I'm still a sucker for them.
