Sorry can't make it . have a good ride
I'm a maybe. Any advice gear wise? How much cooler will it be up their?
Will be hosting my annual Algonquin fall colors ride. Algonquin is at 50-59% color change at the moment.
Will be a full days ride, toronto folks ride will be done before dark.
That could be an issue lol (fuel)
Dude you must be hurting riding a moped if you can't go 200 k's before stopping for fuel, I used to pull 220 km's in a dual-sport that only had a 12L tank.
I'll be going to this ride (hopefully), what a perfect ending and a perfect ride, I have always dreamed of a group ride to Algonquin Park and this is the perfect finale for my riding season. It all depends on the weather for me, with rain or drizzle I'm not going, cold doesn't matter as long as there's sunshine. I'll know Friday if I'm going because that day is when Environment Canada can somewhat accurately predict the weather for Sunday.
looks like a 17.5l tank. sites are saying 45-50mpg. realistically probably about 35-40 depending on how fun you're driving. So about 15-19km/l. That would put it at 260-330 on a full tank. I think the fuel light comes on with about 3L left in the tank. so ~220-275 beforethe light comes on.Thought you were adamantly against riding in the cold? Anyway some smaller bikes come with tiny gas tanks. Yamaha Radian's can't do 200, aaand I can't remember other examples. Supposedly a Daytona 675 will do 230km, though...
