Fall colors in Algonquin Park

not "concerned", just amused. a lot of people with high post counts, myself included, seemed to get reset close to zero, or at least lose a significant number. it's curious your's is still above 4000. i was just wondering out loud if it was that high before the purge, or if you accumulated that afterwards. frankly, i couldn't care less about a person's post count. my asking was just a passing curiosity.

back to the thread: i can't make the 30th, so i'm out on this one. have fun everyone.

The post deletion was based on the dates when the posts were made, most of yours were probably older.

Also, I cannot make it for the 30th :( oh well.

Crap I'm out too, working that day!
Was hoping you were gonna do the ride in October. :(

October works best for me to, but the colors are progressing so fast with this recent colder weather and rain I'm afraid we will miss the peak in October.

Dammit....I've got a baptism to go to on the 30th:( I'm out then :( Although I may just take a ride up on one of these weekends just for fun so I'll post that if I'm planning on going (possibly the 29th).

You guys can discuss safe operating of vehicles on another thread or thru pm's
Please keep it out of this one.
On a side note yes please make sure your bikes are in safe operation, last year we had 30+ bikes.
The $change is to get into the Dorset lookout tower, I believe it's $3.
It's free if you park @ the Dorset Heritage Museum and hike up.:)

That's one he'll of a hike, I'll just pay the $3 and ride up lol.

Since we're not hiking, I'll wear riding shoes. Nothing beats a hike wearing motorcycle shoes, ask me how I know.

Interested....but how often are the gas stop?

I'll try to make it on this one ""boooya"" if i break-in my new bike before that!;-)

Colors are changing fast.
Algonquin park is at 50-59% color change as of today.
So as of now I'm setting the official date at Sunday September 30th, Post #1 updated with the details.

I am so IN...... but a NOOBIE please be patient... lol :)

Not an issue, this is the perfect noobie ride.
Pace will be at the legal limit and there are no technical roads along the route.
Perfect opportunity to genius in a large group ride and maybe pick up some pointers and meet fellow riders.
I'll be up front setting the pace and 2 other friends of mine will be spread along the group in case we get split up, witch will most likely happen with such a large group.
