I was chortling when he stuffed it at Casino due to lack of steering angle and bum-rushing the car in front... heck do I know though, maybe there is a shortcut there to his yacht..

Hamilton had the option of going first or second during Quali., he chose to go second. Now that Nico has pole, he'll have first pick on race strategy.

Toto Wolff suggested during an interview with SkySportsF1 that the "offset strategy" is not very good here, and that Lewis will be disadvantaged with the #2 strategy.

I like how Mercedes is allowing them to race, but will not allow the #2 driver to take advantage of pit-stops. If you're leading the race, Mercedes will give the P1 driver the first call on w/e he needs. P2 driver can't undercut P1 in the pits, and has to overtake him on the track.

I had ZERO hopes in Massa's overtaking-toolbelt.

I'd pay Redbull to pay Maruissia/Crashternaldo/former-roman-crasheon to take out the mercs from here till the end of the year so we can get some proper racing. :p
 
This was the first f1 race I've watched in awhile. Very exciting! However, I was watching on TSN and wow it was incredibly annoying how they cut to commercials. Also, what's up with cutting to the audience when the action was going on.

What happened to the Red Bull domination from the previous years?
 
You're lucky because it was also the best F1 race in a while.

Red Bull domination has been replaced by Blackberry... uh I mean Mercedes domination :). Luckily they ran into some trouble so it made it a tight race 'til the end.

Yep, the order came in from Charlie ... Benz had to dial down the power .... LOL .... it was exciting, but somewhat induced, by two significant technical issues (they were gone in the beginning) .... Massa Perez spectacle in the end ... It was a huge carnage with everyone walking away, not sure about racing quality per say though. The scrap behind Rosberg was alright for 10 or so laps.

Lots of crashes, including the 1st lap one which cost literally 7 or 8 laps of racing .... If I was a paying customer, I'd be peeved ....
 
I didn't see Perez to move inside ... but I am going to trust the F1 who must have reviewed every camera tape available and made the right decision that he did move even very slightly I guess (he will always say that he had a problem and perhaps telemetry could support that ....).

F1 track is certainly not street where too close to follow would apply .... LOL

no fault.

perez is allowed to move over to block. He is allowed to slow down for a turn.
masssa is allowed to try a pass. He is allowed to brake when he wants.
