oh god yes. I didn't want to be the first to say it...Not only was he pleasant, he was friggen hot too

Had a good time on thursday... 1 lady cop VS 300 bikers. Sure there buddy.
Regardless, I behave myself while I'm there out of respect to the property, security doing there job (even If they are harmless) and others who are there to get out and enjoy a community meet.
Any extra heat will bring cops, injuries, unwanted attention and potential fights with other riders who don't agree with your decision making.
The cops are the least of my worries unless I know I did something wrong.
If the cops really did want us to leave, they could have, but that would have involved 20 back up cruisers and them actually getting out of there vehicles, running plates to the point of where the riders will say "not worth sticking around for the inconvenient hassle".
Once again I had a great time and stayed until I wanted to leave, but we all need to keep "respecting our surroundings" in mind.

The dual-sport folk show up well into December, regardless of weather.
I think she may be referring to the police issue, not the weather.

If referring to weather: I'm a huge fan of the cold.
What made them show up last week?
a cop said there was someone who was ripping thru a residetial neighborhood when kids were trying to go to bed early for school.

Apparently there were noise complaints about people ripping it down lakeshore at redline when they leave.

I love the rumor mill. The officer I spoke with last week told us that it was someone either from Price Chopper or affiliated with Price Chopper who had requested they evacuate the parking lot. When she told us this we stated we purchased a box of popsicles from them which we were all eating and she allowed us to stay within a reasonable amount of time to finish them.
For the people who do not pay attention there is typically a cruiser sitting at the side entrance from about 9pm on so it would take no time what so ever for them to respond to a complaint.
I heard that apparently some guys in full gear and tinted face shields walked out of Price Chopper with two boxes of slow-melt Dora the Explorer Popsicles without paying.
Hopefully yes, but may be a bit late. Pls post if the heat comes on again.
