Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

A plan is in motion. It slept somewhere else last night.
Was the departure permanent? They tend to have multiple dens and move as they feel comfortable.

My daughter saw one on her back porch roof and the only way up was climbing a brick wall. In my daughter's case the bricks are easier to climb because the mortar is beveled with the flat on the bottom brick.

Why so much power for the sheds, is it for heat?

If it was me I would go with #3 or #4 depending on the yard layout....
Here is layout….

Scaffold is in the front so need to snap a photo through a bug screen.

Plan is to have both sheds on the top left corner…or one shed on left corner and one on the right.

Back yard is approx 40 x 60 ft.

EDIT: Just measured the yard...50x60ft. Also measured out the sheds and they would barely get out beyond the current garden that can be seen in the top left corner. Effectively the garden in that area would have to be removed and replaced by a concrete slab (14x14 if I want to do a full square, or an L-shaped one with 2ft clearance on the front.

It hasn't come back yet. I intentionally haven't repaired the obvious damage as it will just rip things apart again (and maybe cause irreparable damage). There are no trees it can climb to gain access. It is climbing the house and reaching around the eaves. I haven't found where yet (but exact location isn't all that important as there are many similar locations). On that note, I need to move a camera. it hasn't found anything where it is, maybe it will have better luck looking at a different face.

Kids playset is in the way. Don't fret, I have a spot cleared ready for it!

When I had them in my last attic I covered the entry with poly then made the attic hostile with noise and firing mothballs around with a sling shot.

If the poly got torn I knew they were still using the place. When it stayed for a few days put I took the old TV antenna down.

I sealed the original entrance(well installed a one way door so the could leave but not enter). They busted another entrance. Sealed that one. Busted another one. Death to trash pandas. I tried to be friendly. It didnt work.

Edit:
And the bastard is in a different section of attic. Frig. Threw a radio playing AM in there.

That is genius! I need something like this to free up space.

Still working on shed plans, but wife wants to keep Option #1 where original shed stays but just clad in siding.
I had mine on the lift last summer. Tried something different this year to free up room on the lift. It is in a tent that is supposed to be for bicycle storage shoved in a dead corner of the yard.

That's def an option that's better / cheaper than a brand new shed. However, we looked at the current shed...and it's in a spot where it's literally out of the way and takes nothing from the yard.

So I may just make it smaller to meet regulations, and then build a 110sqft shed in a corner of the lot where it's out of the way.

Get 220sqft of space with no issues, but I will power that newer shed with a 40-60A line in case I want it.

The outdoor office / gym is slowly becoming a non-starter:(

Sorry to ruin the fun. Current shed location is probably no bueno. Minimum exterior side yard is 7.5m. Definition of exterior side yard below. Municipalities have so many unenforced by-laws it's crazy. It would be better if they enforced by-laws (and purged the sections they don't want to enforce).

"means the side yard of a corner lot that extends from the front yard to the rear yard between the side street line and the nearest part of any building or structure on the corner lot."

(On the weekend)
Finally put the snow blower into its summer resting place.

Obviously trying to save floor space. What fits underneath?
I too put a high value on floor space. I have a moped hanging from the garage ceiling. Before I sold them I also had two small Yamahas (FS-1)hanging there too. Also built a raised rack to store winter/summer tires for the car. Lifting those tires over my head onto the rack is getting harder each season.

Hmmm...not sure I understand. But dammit.

Can I sue Kevin for all the non-legal additions / changes 4 years after buying the house?

@mimico_polak you still have the option of leaving the shed as is. Build a temp support wall to hold it up and cut it back from the house. Insulate and do the siding on the house and then reattach it.

So far no one has complained, no enforcement, so that may just (odds are) continue forever. By doing the siding and insulation along inside it properly IF at some future point you have to or want to remove it, you can with minimal ugliness. By doing the work with the shed propped in place it draws less attention than taking it down and putting it back up. Also the cheapest option right now...

You are correct...this is the cheapest option.

I may just NOT clad that shed for the time being, and just do another shed in the corner, and leave that one be for the time being. Once I replace the fence the decision can be made as there is not enough space to get in b/w the fence and shed to clad it.

Only problem with the shed is the rotted plywood, and vermin getting in.

Decisions decisions.

Where's the plywood rotted? Bottom of wall from splashing water? Chalk line, circular saw, prybar and the rotten part is gone. Replace with a new strip of plywood. Finish strip with stucco to match house treatment.

Right in behind this fence....
