Oh I’m 100% aware of that fact.Keep in mind that a properly built shed anywhere else on the lot will set you back another 3-5 grand plus. That's with a proper concrete pad and the material to build said shed.
Insulate the existing shed.Oh I’m 100% aware of that fact.
A composting toilet relies on quite a bit of usage to work. Ours is apparently good for three people full time. Knowing what I know now, cartridge toilet all the way. Thow out the dried out cylinder when required (should be more than a week, possibly once a season if it's not busy). That’s not a shed , that’s a 4th bedroom! Add a composite toilet and it’s $200 a night on Airbnb.

That shed is likely entirely bylaw illegal.... Zero offsets to the property line, looks much larger than 10sqm (~108 sqft), it is attached to the house. All no-nos in most cities and I doubt a permit was used to have the larger size.Kevin made a good shed….but I think I need to tear the whole thing down so I can clad the entire house properly.
Not sure if to return the shed to current location and lose some internal space…or just build a new one elsewhere in the yard…

EDIT: obviously the offsets are non existent…
Often sheds aren't allowed power, heat or plumbing. Usually there are height and area restrictions. That shed is likely entirely bylaw illegal.... I would just insulate the exterior house wall inside the shed. Might even consider putting up an internal tempory support wall and cutting back the shed walls away from the house to run everything straight through, then reattach it and clad it in the same siding. That way if you are forced to remove it in the future it won't look stupid.
Isn't everything kevin touched poured concrete?Often sheds aren't allowed power, heat or plumbing. Usually there are height and area restrictions.
Build the right thing in the right place but it won't be cheap.
Is it on a poured concrete base?
Yes…yes it is. And done well.Isn't everything kevin touched poured concrete?
Well when I take it down I’m going to transfer it to the new location. So…I just found out yesterday that my FIL had a pad poured 10yrs back to build a shed on in Whitby but never got around to building it so I'm taking shed donations if you need to get rid of it
How and when will you know for sure.Alright not the best results after 1 day but hopefully tomorrow is better.

So you’re a def no for this method. Not reassuring lol.How and when will you know for sure.
I don't like Tapcons
I don't like sand lime brick.
I don't like the warp factor in SPF.
On the more optimistic side, do you notice a temperature / comfort difference with the room in the corner? Not that it's that cold out. Sound difference?
How good is your mortar? Did Kevin do it?Alright not the best results after 1 day but hopefully tomorrow is better.
