Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

Just have a nice HUGE cup of hot tea (with lemon and sugar) near by and you will be fine. Soon enough you will be sweating.

My wife is strongly hinting that I need to get up off the couch and work on some home projects.

Hmm.

Hmm.

I think a lot of wives feel the same way these days.

Technically the gov. said that only project that were started before April 4 are allowed to continue.

I haven't filed for a permit for my washroom reno yet so I don't think I can get on that project yet. ;)

does anybody remember what it looked like before?
I had to build storage shelves  you can never have too many of those.

I only need a permit during COVID.
After the COVID crisis I can do all work in my house without a permit.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

:LOL::LOL:

Heard that one too. Around here working in the garage is considered the same as loafing on the couch.

Only the things on "The List" taped to the fridge count as 'real work' around here. Sadly, I can't add or remove things from The List. I'm only allowed to look at it and call someone to tick things off when I'm done.

I just realized that I should be getting permits for all this work. I forgot changing door handles, painting, and hanging pictures all require permits.

Time for a new fridge. You never touched the list. :)

Might be cheaper to replace a fridge than taking on a new project

I went grocery shopping which seems increasingly like a life of death experience right now....so I did a thing today.

Time to spend another few hours on the couch until I get poked at again. :ROFLMAO:

Fastest result would be replace the organizer of said list.
Certainly the most expensive way, but......
Cost prohibitive. Hmmm... she did allow me to buy a wood chipper last week to finish one of The List items.

I wonder if I could convince my wife that I need a nice new $1500 Macbook to finish painting the trim in the front hall.

:sneaky:

1yrd3 of earth moved...only took an hour. I'm spent. Apparently we need another 1yrd3...I miss working at a regular set location.

Better idea - tell her you'll buy her a nice new Macbook if she finishes the trim.
