does anybody remember what it looked like before?Technically the gov. said that only project that were started before April 4 are allowed to continue.
I haven't filed for a permit for my washroom reno yet so I don't think I can get on that project yet.

That's a lot of people's story and they're sticking to it! Now excuse my while I make plans for a 'permit' for a deck...I only need a permit during CVOID.
After the COVID crisis I can do all work in my house without a permit.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Heard that one too. Around here working in the garage is considered the same as loafing on the couch. My wife is strongly hinting that I need to get up off the couch and work on some home projects.

Time for a new fridge. You never touched the list.Heard that one too. Around here working in the garage is considered the same as loafing on the couch.
Only the things on "The List" taped to the fridge count as 'real work' around here. Sadly, I can't add or remove things from The List. I'm only allowed to look at it and call someone to tick things off when I'm done.
That would be the 4th new fridge this year.Time for a new fridge. You never touched the list.
Cost prohibitive. Hmmm... she did allow me to buy a wood chipper last week to finish one of The List items.Fastest result would be replace the organizer of said list.
Certainly the most expensive way, but......

Better idea - tell her you'll buy her a nice new Macbook if she finishes the trim.I wonder if I could convince my wife that I need a nice new $1500 Macbook to finish painting the trim in the front hall.
