Ordered a trailer today. It will be here in two months. Lots of time to get what i need to make it mine.
Tell us what you did with yours, or what you wish you hadn't done.
Chocks
Storage
Tie down points
E Track etc
Security (mine is going to be tagged)
Overnight comforts
Etc etc etc

How big are we talking and for what purpose? Trailering a bike to nicer roads and sunnier climes? Mentioning overnight comforts suggests more than a 5 x 8.

The trailer that inspired the most lust in me at a track day was a nice 6x10 that had been kitted out with a side awning, a mini fridge, a spot to strap a rolling tool chest into the V berth, lots of overhead storage for spares etc. and two Pit Bull rear-wheel trailer restraints. It was just nicely set up so that things were neatly organised and came out in the order you needed them, and went back the same way. Setup and teardown took just a few minutes. Wish I took a pic. It was slicker than some of the huge toy haulers that appear with Quebec plates for Calabogie track days...

After a lot of pondering i settled on a 5x8 with a ramp rear and a side man door.I would only sleep in it once or twice a year. A 6x12 would be tough to get into trials locations.

Not a Pinterest fan , but there are about 1000 enclosed trailer ideas.

I like the restraint system. Not sure if they make one for my 143lb beta?

6x12 enclosed. Drop down rear door and side man door.

3 chocks, 3 bikes.

Tie down points on d-rings on the floor.

I'm going to do the e-track, likely at the 4' mark, and perhaps one lower. Gives me options.

I might build a rack in the top of the v-nose, or along the sides around 5' and up. I don't want to add much weight. 3 bikes nearly maxes it out.

I like the magnet screen idea. Do that, and an air mattress and I'm set.

Fills up fast when its full of bikes...

They do ones for 350 and 520 Betas, not sure if the axles are similar?

It's one of those products that every single person I know who owns one loves it. Not cheap, but there's no question that the various Pit Bull stands are the best you can buy ..

Would a low profile trailer that could back into your garage get the job done? I see one in our nieghbor hood but only when the door is up .

My Beta Evo has a solid axle. Won't work.

Has anyone insulated and installed A/C? Something like a waterproof marine hatch in the side, and sticking in a residential 5000BTU A/C window unit when you park for the night.

Seems excessive. If I really really needed a/c, I'd probably install a rooftop unit. If trailer isnt going in garage anyway, no point wasted some of the limited interior space for a/c.

I sleep like crap in anything above 20 degrees, so I mostly just want a refrigerated coffin to sleep in. The rooftop units I've seen are an order of magnitude more expensive than a basic residential A/C unit. And it looks like most of them are 12v and are drawing way more amps than a small generator can supply, so I guess you also need a battery bank?
