My friend came by today and freaked out about how I park on the driveway. I always parked my bike outside so I wonder if this is not common. Until it's snowing, my bike stays outside whether rain or shine.
My garage spaces are occupied with my cars and bicycles. Since my cars and bicycles cost more than my motorcycle, I think it makes sense that it stays out there. You have free space in the garage and not use it. Just don't get piss or blame anything if it is stolen or damage then all is well do whatever you want.
I've left my key in bike more than once (including in a Green P overnight) and lost it for a week on a ledge right beside the bike. Guess I'm lucky.Don't let anyone here know where the free bikes are parked, or we'll have a "how do I get a new key made when I don't have the old one", thread on here next week.
I live on a quiet street, and my driveway slopes into the garage -- I find it a PIA to push bikes backward uphill to turn them around in the morning, so I just park on the driveway. Maybe I should buy a turntable.
Always amazed at the segment of riders who seem to think that letting a motorcycle get wet is somehow going to destroy it.
No we already knew that. Almost every used bike ever purchased was "dropped by the previous owner" according to the ads.Next thing you'll tell me is that a dropped bike is still ridable.
