DOUGIE Will Appeal Bill 124 Decision WTF

not sure his appeal will go forward, i think its some blunderbussing so he looks less stupid.

its now been pushed in the media spin as a bill against women , as male dominated jobs like police and fire were not help to the same percent as womens jobs ie nursing. Dougie should slink away from this one.

And yet the majority of the province couldn’t be bothered to vote. Maybe this dumpster fire will mobilize more … in 3 years.

Hopefully there are viable alternatives at that time.

Politicians don't even see people. All they look at is numbers
I’ve met/seen Doug at events 3x over the last two years and the mofo knows how to work a crowd.

Came around and shook the hand of literally every single person on the site. Did not miss a single one and some multiple times because he doesn’t actually see you….just the hand he wants to shake.

But I’ll give it to him. He knows how to get the crowd going and is shorter than I expected.

The appeal will be dropped or he will lose. Simpleton Dougie would probably like to use the notwithstanding clause but he was taken to the shed by CUPE on this as DoFo succeeded in unifying unions from all industries and he only backed off to avert a general strike.

The unions affect by the 1% clause will go back and demand back pay for for all hours worked at the constrained rate, this will take years to resolve. and the settlement cost will be many billions. By way of example, unions will claim members got 4% over a 4 year contract, but it should have been 8% or 10% or whatever. It also means that a contract just signed was done so on the wrong base salary or rate. Members might end up with an adjustment of 1% - 2% a year x 4 years + their salary in a new contract will be adjusted upward by the same amount.

Ontario court abolishes wage-cap law for public sector workers

Methinks there will be no appeal, but it will set a fire under Doug to look at finding more efficiencies in the public sector, and to look at other methods for overhauling labour laws in Ontario.

I've been watching Alberta, Sask, and Quebec efforts to brush back the feds in areas where they feel the feds have overreached provincial powers. Provinces are starting to stand up by trying to keep the feds in their lanes so they can do what's right for their provinces, they are also starting to collaborate in areas where the feds have gatekept on issues of inter-provincial importance.

If you read Towhey's book on Robbie you can see how he might have picked that up from his brother.
