Basically 5x7 =

ride evenings all season (till end of march that is)
you can ride monday to friday during the day for MOST of the season (except those 2 weeks)

Ive been using the 5x7 for the 2 past years trying to get the most out of them (going out 15 times/ season at blue)

this is all correct!.. you can however board during the weekends (non busy weekends) on the north side of the mountain.. but if they ask you to show lift pass and you show them ur season pass they'll tell you to wait till 4:30.

Just stay away from the Main lift and the Express.., usually the far north lift and far south don't check...

also if you really want.. buy a full day pass and and then sell it for 10 bucks less once 4:30 comes..

You had answered that question already :)
so i responded to his concern about the season's pass and the fact that it will vary from day, evening, weekends and holidays.

Thats why i started it with "5x7 ="

I was pretty heavy into snowboarding a few years back, but the accessibility of the whole thing while living here in Ontario ruined my taste for it. Pretty much everyday on a hill around here will cost you $100, between gas, lift tickets and food for the day. Which is ludicrous for Ontario/Buffalo riding.

Now it's come down to one or two major trips per year. I got a buddy that lives in Van city, so I'm gonna try to plan a BC trip this winter :)

I copped a Never Summer Heritage (with the carbon top sheet) last year for a STEAL...can't wait to rip on that thing again

Did the lite pass this year cause i hate the weekends at Blue. Wont ever do the 5x7 again. I also try to go at least once a week.
 
One kid tried a snowboard lesson. He's back on skis now.

I don't miss skiing near Toronto at all.

Some hills are 20-30 minutes from here, with less of a crowd.
 
Been snowboarding for the last 15 years. Alpine snowboarding actually. Didn't get out last year, hoping to get out there this season.
 
First year in many I did not get a blue pass. I am going to do more weekends in VT/MA this way.

Definitely worth it.

Until i got a kid, id have a cottage weekend with some regular friends of mine every season near Jay's Peak. So much more worth it than Blue mountain
