Do we need a different classification system for members?

You're talking entertainment value, which I used to live for on forums and spend post after post lobbing troll-grenades to make the argument blow up again. Unfortunately, advertisers start to complain, then it becomes a headache for mods to keep up with. In came the rules, then all the entertaining mentally unstable characters got kicked off. They were replaced with the boring people. Most of those old forums are ghost towns now, and a lot of them closed up shop. Anyone remember Streetfires.com where all the street racing was posted (before YouTube came along)?
maybe the 'mentally unstable characters ' weren't all that entertaining?

Oh no, they were. With that said I know what "advice" to stay away from. Not so for the noobs who take it as the truth.....

I’ve been getting a kick out of some jokesters listing incredibly odd things on Facebook marketplace. Some are hilarious.

Having just read the Who pays for the safety/certification thread I would suggest that automatically adding a disclaimer to the bottom of every post made by certain people instead of banning them for misinformation would be better. For example, 'WARNING: The information contained in this post is of no use to anyone and should be ignored. It is allowed to remain simply for the entertainment of our members'.

The entertainment value of those posts are priceless.

Perhaps even a 'Ignore this Member' in place of 'Well-Known member'.

Candidate for post of the year.

Anyone with admin permissions can edit peoples signatures. I propose for the case in point being discussed here....that be considered. ;)
