1 arm push-ups are like chrome… just for show.Best to do things correctly, with full range of motion and correct form, but lower reps than half assing
First day back at the gym after the recent festivities. That's me in the background trying to pull my shorts up.
that's what we did last night around 10:30 at night...cleared of the truck and front porch/sidewalk before the rain hit...it was actually really nice out at that time...Buddy called me a fool for not spending 40min in the sleet and rain last night shovelling.
Woke up this morning to a clear driveway thanks to warm temps.
He didn’t appreciate my text message this morning.
Haven't tackled the driveway yet doesn't really look like enough to bother with yet should pack down after driving over it for a few different ways

We have gravel and if there isn't a solid layer of ice base the tractor tears it up with the plowMight want to reconsider. Whatever is left on the ground beyond the next few hours is going to be concrete for the next week at least given the temps in the long term forecast.
I made that mistake a few years ago and spent 2 weeks cursing myself everytime I had to navigate the surface of the moon between my car and front door.
Does this mean you have a battery powered snow blower? Any details you wish to share?I too used my new snowblower last night for the bulk of the snow, and the clealup this morning. I can't even call it a workout, that thing just eviserated anything I pointed it at. Incredible. I'll never go back to a gas blower again.
It’s concrete now. I just blew out my elderly neighborhood driveway, the snowblower just climbed over the snowpack.Might want to reconsider. Whatever is left on the ground beyond the next few hours is going to be concrete for the next week at least given the temps in the long term forecast.

After all these years of doing it by shovel I may weaken, maybe. I need to keep the reputation with my neighbours as the old goat still shovelling and not using a blower or having it plowed.
I ate some cookies…
Thanks, that sounds very promising. Never thought they had enough power to last that long.Ryobi 40v 21" battery powered.

I found a basically new one on FB marketplace for a great price (less than half of new) because it was a previous gen model with the problematic handle that kept sliding down. A few pipe clamps solved the issue in about 5 minutes.
I already had one of the 40v battery packs from my Ryobi mower (which is also freakin awesome) and the blower came with a bigger one again, so with the 2 together I was able to blow out my entire driveway out, the sidewalk, both my neighbours sidewalk, and then in an effort to see how long it would keep going, I went down the sidewalk and got about 8-10 houses away before it finally died at that point. And that was with the crappy heavy wet snow of 2 nights ago. Super impressed. It's insanely quiet as well.
My spirit animal.
Same. I didn’t expect it to last that long. Thanks, that sounds very promising. Never thought they had enough power to last that long.
My neighbours have (i think) a smaller ryobi. It is so quiet it is great. Can't throw the snow from the center of the double driveway to the lawn but if you go slow it has enough power to throw the double deep snow from the edge. Gets their ~6 car driveway done easily. No idea how much battery is left at the end. Completely useless against the windrow and a non-starter. I do the windrow for them. Like with battery lawnmowers, it is far happier if you stay on top of things. It is happy to do 3" but if you wait for a foot to build up or if you wait for it to get crusty, it really struggles. Thanks, that sounds very promising. Never thought they had enough power to last that long.
I bought that one when we had elderly neighbours and I did several driveways. Thanks for the review @PrivatePilot. My snowblower purchased from @nobbie48 seems to be going well also. But not sure how much longer.
Once that thing dies I’m considering moving to electric instead of gas.
Leaf blower, mower, and trimmer are still gas but that won’t change for a while as they’re all in good shape.
