December riders - careful out there...

decided to go for a christmas ride this late afternoon around downtown, left the house around 4pm, came back home just before 8pm, very chilly outside, but very re-freshing as well...

thought maybe the timmies @ L and L was opened, but wasn't

i had plans to go for this xmas ride a few weeks back, but when i saw the late nite snow fall last night, figured too bad, but then everything cleared up later on in the day...

thinking of tomorrow as well (boxing day), but i think it's going to be chaos on the road, so maybe not...

oaky we are NOT going anywhere today

Bringing snow and winds, the storm, which began brewing in Texas, is expected to hit Toronto in the evening on Boxing Day. It will dump between five to ten centimetres of snow, Environment Canada forecast.

The precipitation is expected to be accompanied by northeast winds of 50 to 60 kmh, leading to poor visibility, Environment Canada said. The storm will likely have a significant impact on Boxing Day travel plans, according to the government forecasters.

Did my Christmas ride yesterday was out at 2 PM, to Oshawa harbour, up to Brooklin, over to Whitby, nice ride for almost an hour not much traffic, thought I would see at least one other bike out, but not even a Ural!

Well, looks like some proper snow is coming down (at least in Markham area). Glad I got a few December rides in.

Safe riding to you crazy winter riders!

It's snowing right now. Roads are covered! Figured I'd take the R1 for a quick spin.... Wishful thinking..
