Mine did nothing up shifting, only down.
I get nervous with the old guy up the street. He has a GT500 and a raptor and his reflexes are not exactly in top form. Thankfully he drives slowly through the neighbourhood. Hell, I'm worse than I once was and I'm decades younger.
The one I drove on a caddy was up and down rpms were always perfect before letting the clutch out no jerking at all.

If you've followed some of my posts on some of the car threads, I go gaga over grand nationals, Taurus sho's, gmc cyclones and typhoons, Nissan Skylines /GTR (before anyone even knew what they were) even pedestrian looking Tesla sedans with Plaid package (although the secret is out now)and this Slade.
Nothing like spanking most modern sports cars of its era with one of these.

but the whole point is to not look like much (unsexy).
GTRs are sexy and in no way a sleeper, its a 2 door sports car.
