Daily sports car?

My MK8 GTI hit 5000+ km this week.

So far only two issues have come up. Issue one, wireless Apple CarPlay GPS glitching and the only to fix it is to restart the car. Issue number two, the car intermittently thinks there is no key in the car which causes the alarm to go off while I am driving!

Averaging 500-530 km right now (~9.5-10 L / 100 km)

This is a huge improvement compared to my experience with the GLI

Not a sports car or a fast car, but really fun to drive. Pulling up to the pumps to refill puts a grin on my face every time

Always been a fan of these tiny little eco-boxes. If Honda Fit had the aftermarket support that Asia has, I think that would've been a fun project.
I had a chance to buy a Fit, but ended up with my Gen1 Volt as the owner took months to decide what to do with it.

Literally Sunday driver for 11k or so, with maybe 15k on the odo.

They are great cars. If I lost my Volt today...I'd probably look at one of those.

I'm a little surprised at the fuel consumption. Babying my WRX I was able to get it down to 7-8L/100km, close to 6.5 on the highway in the summer...but really babying it.

I've always wanted to put an LS in the back of a Fit to drive the rear wheels...
