Asset sale with the garage. ?Lol. I was out there yesterday with my hoover carpet shampooer cleaning the floor. My wife was parking her civic in there. Doctor took her license away, 2010 civic for sale, 67,000km.lol.

I've seen stranger real estate gimmicks (and sometimes they work). "Comes with a free car. You are in KW, everybody including your kids needs a vehicle to go anywhere."Asset sale with the garage. ?
Heavy metal is great and all, just as long as you still have plenty of food and water. If the stores do run out of food you can maybe trade some of that gold for something to eat I'll be the one who walks down the hill to catch some fish for protein, drill a few trees to make sugar and bury some chunks of potato in good clean country top soil for a few months to make my starch and carbo's.
That's why he has a long driveway and an excavator. People are inherently lazy. If he makes a moat so the intruders have to walk up a hill to get to his house, that will deter 95% of the horde.better stock up on ammo and build an underground shelter
the zombies are sure to want into that paradise
I've got enough property and a big enough excavator that I could bury that for safe keeping for you if you like.Maybe if trials is lucky I'll hire him to help carry my stack of gold bars.
The paradise is called Canada, it's pretty big!better stock up on ammo and build an underground shelter

or open them from a good distancestopping for ammo on the way home tonight, its not enough to have can goods and toilet paper in supply, you have to be able to protect those canned goods...…..
Trigger pulled. I'm all in (well soon, limit should buy in a dip). Now no more looking at markets for a while. First dividend shows up Mar 17.Your logic is a lot of the reason I didn't buy a bunch of AMZN yesterday. They should be paying a dividend and they don't. Making me look for an alternative buy.
Six Flags was worth a look but isn't for me. I'm thinking Cedar Fair (NYSE:FUN). It's down over 50% from it's one year high (almost all the drop over the last week). At some point in the not too distant future, Wonderland is going to go residential (well probably mixed-use). Cedar Fair market cap is 1.8B. They pay a 12% dividend and can probably sell the land under wonderland for more than 25% of their market cap. They would still have 12 more parks at that point (although I would sell, I don't like the theme park business).

There are a couple potential pitfalls, but imo, there is room for that. Dividend yield at the price I bought is 13%. I doubt covid will drag out through much of theme park season. I don't really care about their theme parks, I am investing in their land. Is there more room to go down? Of course there is. Trying to time the bottom can easily end up on missing the bump. They bought Paramount for 1.24B cash in 2006. Current market cap is 1.65B.Any chance of them cutting the divvy if their profits remain depressed?
Asking because I fell into a couple of Value Traps before...

Stupid panic. My wife keeps seeing all the people posting about toilet paper shortages and worries about running out because we only have 36 rolls and a four year old that uses a lot. If we can't get any before that runs out it's because people are being ridiculous and hoarding. Does anyone know why people started a run on toilet paper for Covid? It makes no sense to me. The people doing it probably have no canned food or water so it's not like they can self-isolate anyway.

Of course those parasites would. This virus could potentially get to the point where thousands die here, double digit unemployment, serious downturn in our economy and real estate agents will be telling gullible idiots, "Buy buy buy, its the best time right now, you will make 20% in one year!"Yes I was thinking the same thing, seems the real estate agents are already predicting a rise in GTA home prices, how convenient.
