Cops should watch this !!!

Perhaps the cop had finished giving someone a ticket and was filling in his book before he took off.
Riders fault plain and simple, to suggest otherwise is ridiculous...

The rider should not have been riding the way he was, its obvious the rider was not experienced to be riding like that..

How is that obvious?
When you watch a motoGP race and a rider goes down, do you start talking about how it's obvious that racer was not experienced?

The only thing obvious from the video is that a momentary lapse of judgement is all it takes.

Here's one for you guys.... What if it was a car with a flat tire parked there? Would it have been his fault? No.

A car with a flat tire can't pull you over, charge you, hassle you, cost you stupid amounts of money for nothing... or shoot you in the back claiming self defense! :)

Cop car is a little more intimidating than a broken down car when you know your doing something you shouldn't be.

Just right. There is no excuse for crashing because there is a vehicle parked on the opposite shoulder. Not even a cop car. Ever. Period.

If the cop made him crash just by sitting there he had it coming one way or another. He was lucky the cop reacted fast, turned on the cherries and pulled out to protect his *** from oncoming traffic. He was double lucky that there were no oncoming traffic when he crashed or right after. Even if there was, the said traffic would be definitely slower because of the cop car on their shoulder.

Now go learn some rational thinking, nothing more to see or discuss here.

Single vehicle accident.Loss of control equals careless charge.Simple really.

How is anyone even blaming this on the cop? The cop can park wherever he pleases.

This is like ALMOST punching someone in the face. You can't get charged with ALMOST Assaulting someone. If you go around ALMOST punching people in the face and they flinch and fall over, legally it's their fault for losing balance for "nothing", but the animal kingdom from which we originate and in which we still live knows it's entirely yours. The cop knew what he was doing and why.

So you don't think the cop just finished clearing the scene from a previous incident/collisions/crash/ticket?
Do you think the cop was just having a picnic?

No and no. I base these answers on the following:

1) When you see a cop car just parked somewhere, generally speaking, the cop hasn't "just finished clearing the scene from a previous incident/collisions/crash/ticket", generally, he is camped looking for some prey.
2) There is also no evidence of the cop partaking in picnic activities.

It's the cop's fault because he wasn't there to catch the rider when he fell and to give him a few kisses to make him feel better

Police officers are so mean! *stomps* He probably gave that rider a stern talking to as well! What a poopie head.

Kidding aside, what if a Topless woman was standing around the corner and shocked the rider into using too much front brake? lol. Rider messed up, end of story.

The rider would not have gone down if the cop was not there.

The cop being there caused the rider to make a mistake which caused him to go down.

I would put blame as 50% cop, 50% rider.

Hope the rider didn't get a ticket.

LOL... I was thinking exactly the same thing.
