Actually, you can.. Remember watching Sons of Guns - zombie gun build (I believe it was S03E08, look it up on youtube, the little .22 was cute) and IIRC they had a 100rd drum in poodleshooter, not .22LR for their AR-->M16 conversion (they built 2 guns - M16 platform for M&P use, .22LR for civvies
They wouldn't even know anything about the gun they're carrying in many cases. By the way, a Chinese firearm cannot be legally imported into the US. Since the Norinco reps selling to gangbangers incident, they put a total ban on Chinese firearms - couldn't take your Type-56 across the border to shoot at a range.
That would have to be one big drum. I have seen a 2 drum set up, but reveiws have said major feeding problems with it. I have a NP 28 double stack and a M1911A1 -P in .45 not a type 56. Don't shoot the .45 too much as ammo is expensive. I'm sure once I start reloading I will use it more.
This may be my next purchase hXXp://www.marstar.ca/dynamic/product.jsp?productid=75660 They just came out with them this year. I am waiting to see and hold one to ensure it is as good as the pic looks first.
