There is no way. The power to weigh ratios would require him to be running a top fuel motor like a dragster. Just some guy talking out his butt. If he beat a 600 it was because Miss Daisy was riding the 600.

Top fuel motors make thousands of horsepower. If you think thats necessary for a Civic to smoke a 600 you're a complete moron. All they need is about 500-600 horsepower and drag radials and you can say byebye to the 600.

PLENTY of Civics out there can smack 600s around.

That is a good point. I didn't consider the use of drag tires. If you could get the drive wheels of the Civic to have a higher traction to weight ratio than the bike then there is no reason why the car couldn't beat the bike. Mind you, if the bike used a modified tire and a wheelie bar it could also increase it's ability to put the hammer down.

But forget all that crap. The nice thing about a bike is that you can drop $10,000 and run like the wind. To do that in a car is going to cost many times that. Somebody should organize a race. I would love to see it.

there are fast bikes and there are fast cars...there are too many variables here......go to the drags and you'll see fast bikes going slow due to slow riders and the same can be said about cars.....maybe the guy in the Civic can cut 10s on a regular basis at the track.....its tough to duplicate that on the street ...even tougher on a short wheelbase wheelie happy 600....bikes are very tricky to launch on the street.....hard enough at the best of times......if the guy in the civic thinks hes hot **** and any rider thinks the same put up some cash and race him at Toronto Motorsport park where all the ******** of ****** starting line stuff is eliminated....if you red light you lose!...the race and your money.....I have 10 second timeslips in my pocket...maybe hes gotta a rocket...race him at the track, boys......... 8)

wouldnt a cbr 600 with a normal rider prob run 12's on the street?
that white civic u guys are talking about ran 12's,

I myself ran a cbr 600 with my civic and I did beat it, altho it was not from a dead stop, and I was running a b18c5 with 60 shot of spray at the time...
