How screwed up is it becoming here..
What Cherry said on national TV was dumb. So many people called for his head, just like they have been doing for years.. fine...
Last month a Syrian family who owned a restaurant had to close due to backlash when it came to light that their son blocked that old lady with a walker and yelled "Nazi" at her. There was so much support for them, even our own clown Mayor came out in defence.
We have freedom to speak here (even though they prevented them from walking across the road and yelled hate speech) but we do not have freedom of consequence, which is what the anti-Cherry folks have been yapping on about.
Why is everyone so upset about the Syrian restaurant then? Surely they had to know that being outed in that fashion would have big consequences for their business which has, along with the family, been featured in the media as some "success" story.
What that ungrateful little brat did (and has done this stuff for a few years now) is FAR worse than what Don Cherry did.
Does anyone know who Yusra Khogali is? She received a "Young woman leadership" award a couple of years back.
She is a vile and disgusting human being. Tweeting stuff out such as :
“Plz Allah give me strength to not cuss/kill these men and white folks out here today. Plz plz plz.”
and white people are “recessive genetic defects” and purportedly mused about how the race could be “wiped out,”
Did she lose her job for what she said? Where is the outcry about her? She might be the most divisive person in the whole country.
But its ok because she is black and muslim?
and then people wonder why nationalism, anti-immigration is on the rise in the west. People are
tired and fed up with this.
