Absolutely no responsibility for his own actions. He blames the police chief and the media for conspiring against him and causing all his troubles. Dude, YOU are the one with the drinking problem, doing hard drugs, and hanging out with gangsters, while holding the office of mayor of Toronto. THAT's the problem, not those who caught you out.
And merely saying sorry is not taking responsibility.

I didn't take it like that, but it seems that the media is really running with it. I took it more as, "What would you think when you've got young kids and someone starts taking pictures over your fence?"
He says that Lisi was just being used as a prop against him, or whatever, when there were numerous cases, that police documented, in which the two did package hand-offs? He's delusional.

One liar spouting make-believe to another liar. I can't believe they thought any rational thinking person would take that interview seriously.
IIRC, Dale was taking pictures of the little spit of parkland next to Ford's house, that Ford was trying to buy from the city so he could expand his own property. He wasn't even aiming his camera at Ford's house. Ford fabricated his claim that Dale was standing on cinder blocks to look over the fence, and police found no evidence to backup Ford's claim.

And also that Ford ran out and ended up in possession of Dale's cellphone. Now how does that happen? Why not take the camera too if you're taking things and provide all the evidence to the police?
I think Rob believes he is telling the truth but it's a combination of mental illness and drug abuse that is distorting his reality in my opinion.

Im not sure if dictators in 3rd world countries see as much hate towards them as Rob Ford. What exactly has he done to the people in this thread that makes them unable to stop posting about him? What has he done or what decision has he made that has effected you personally that you all need to vent it on the forums EVERYDAY? Im not in Toronto so dont care who the mayor there is but you guys are really obsessed.

Maybe their position was cut (or family members). My gf is in the government, tells me when there is excess budget, they make up bogus positions to use it up just so they can get the same budget next year.
On a different note, I hear his popularity is still 42%. Let democracy rule again. I'm curious about the next election

Rob Ford offends my sensibilities. (decency, integrity, honesty, etc.) He gets under my skin. That's all he's done to me personally.
None of the outstanding issues are satisfactorily resolved and more issues are added daily. The Fords' response to issues is to call them lies and conspiracies, and to sidestep and deflect.
I'm so happy not to be living in a third world dictatorship where inappropriate politician behaviour can not be called into question.

Well as we don't live in a Third World country (yet), we tend to be more concerned over the politicians who can have an immediate and pronounced effect on our lives.

That's actually normal on all levels of government and is also common in the corporate world.. If you have room in this year's budget and it doesn't get used up, next year you get less budget. I've never met a manager that volunteered for a budget cut
