Some people want to eliminate the CBC. I want it to stay but not as an arm of the standing government.

I'm OK with CBC to promote Canadian culture but in these "Woke" times it's hard to define without being called an XXXist. That spins off to the political spectrum.

I would heartily support the CBC doing educational programming.

Program #1 would be "The government hasn't one nickel to spend that they haven't taken out of a taxpayer's pocket. "Government money" does not exist. When the government loses a lawsuit, the taxpayer pays the settlement, not the individual that caused the problem.

All such settlements must be posted on future campaign literature, not unlike a driver's abstract.

Program #2 would be " A politician can only say "We will spend $XXXXXXXX on blah blah if their party is writing the cheque." In all other cases they must say "We will spend $XXXXXXXX of taxpayer's money on blah blah. That is $XX per taxpayer"
