What kind of dad would think of putting the disgrace onto one of his kids?
One that would post a POV pic on FB of him ripping across the lake with a Corona beer can on the dash framed artistically in the corner of the image?

So do we think he was complying with the 10 km/h speed limit and the engine is just really torquey? /s
It's a G2. 150HO or larger. I didn't see any images of rear of motor to be able to know size for sure.Is that an Etec 275 on Mr. Picklefork's boat? That'll get up on plane pretty good... in a 10 KPH zone
Was that story about Reciprocity public? I don't remember hearing it beforeI'm guessing O'Leary's defense was seven figures. Like I said above about him hiring a high profile ($$$) lawyer, not with that boat he won't. You need yacht money for that. Look what happened to Donovan (Reciprocity) when he hit a pedestrian in the Burlington G&CC crosswalk on Northside Drive. The victim's son was a high profile lawyer. The lawsuit crushed him.
He mentioned it on here. IIRC Pedestrian was drunk and wandered onto road. Recip was sober and complying with HTA. Still got his ass kicked in civil court. Was that story about Reciprocity public? I don't remember hearing it before

I remember reading a post from him when he was moving away about it.

In the USA the son of a mafia boss ran out into the street and was hit and killed by a driver. The driver disappeared shortly thereafter and was never seen again.Hypothetical re:hitting a jaywalker
Had an interesting scenario posed to me (happened to a friend of a friend). The driver was cresting a hill on a 70km/h lit street at night, doing between 70-80km/h. As he was cresting the hill he noticed 2 jay walkers had just entered the middle (turning) lane approx 100-150m away. They both...www.gtamotorcycle.com
"I recently went through this sort of court action after striking a pedestrian and killing them.
According to the police and highway traffic act I did nothing wrong, I was not speeding, impaired etc, however, I was dinged with an at fault claim from my insurance company, there was a liability settlement that my insurance company paid out but I was also subject to a secondary tort action brought on by the family to which my insurance company did not cover(there were lawyers in the family of the deceased)
The net result was, I lost just about everything I owned,, all the equity I had in my home and other financial assets."
Is that a speaker or a crankshaft? This pic shows what sure looks like the top of the fishing boat engine. It is now located beside the drivers seat.
I'm reasonably confident that's the flywheel and we are looking at the top of the engine (with the housing smashed off).Is that a speaker or a crankshaft?
Appreciate you digging that out... damn. Will go eat some garbage in Don's memoryHypothetical re:hitting a jaywalker

OK, now I really need to look for it. That sounds pretty unfair if he didn't do anything to cause the accident. He mentioned it on here. IIRC Pedestrian was drunk and wandered onto road. Recip was sober and complying with HTA. Still got his ass kicked in civil court.
I have 1M on each powered thing and a 1M rider that applies to all of them. It would still be grossly inadequate if I killed/injured more than a handful of people. This thread is making me reconsider my 1M liability limit....especially the reciprocity story...
Pretty sure I’m 1M per vehicle, and an additional 1M umbrella policy.I have 1M on each powered thing and a 1M rider that applies to all of them. It would still be grossly inadequate if I killed/injured more than a handful of people.
