BMW owners movement!

Thanks for the heads up. Have my heart set on an "R" because chain drive will let me change final drive ratio

Well,

I'm back in the BMW fold, my wife just bought me a 2012 K1300s for our15th wedding anniversary!!

Can't wait to pick it up this week!

That is quite the respectable present, she had great taste (in bikes anyway...)

Congratulations!!!!

I'd be concerned. Maybe she wants to see less of you now?;) Congrats on the bike and the 15 years.

If you have any questions on BMWs... The Serpa BMW sponsored bike will be on display Wednesday July 17[SUP]th[/SUP] from 5pm to 7pm. It will also be an opportunity from BMW riders to drop by for a casual ‘quiz the technician’ evening and have their ongoing BMW maintenance and repair questions answered. “We have two Master trained technicians and an amazing apprentice. On behalf of the entire Serpa BMW Motorrad team we invite the public to come in for a visit and have any lingering questions answered” said Jeff Lane, Manager of Fixed Operations, Serpa BMW in Newmarket, Ontario. http://www.insidemotorcycles.com/ne...305-hoffarth-podiums-at-csbk-st-eustache.html Motorrad Days tickets for CTMP/Mosport are up! http://www.bmw-motorrad.ca/ca/en/in...addays2013_new/motorraddays2013_overview.html

Some spy picks leaked out of the new GSA. This is one fantastic looking bike. I was wondering what they would do with the GSA, not really that big of a fan of the styling of the LC-GS. This was a pleasant surprise!

...for anyone interested, Budd's Motorrad is having a sale on riding apparel 20-70 percent off. Wednesday August 28 only from 9am - 8:30pm...

i'm debating on getting a BMW for next season, i live right by Endras BMW but read some negative reviews on them, would it be ok to purchase from Endras and take it to Budd's for servicing?

thanks,

Absolutely. If you check the service lot, you'll find plenty of bikes being serviced coming from rival dealerships

Sometimes there are benefits from buying from the dealer you will be getting service done at. For instance, because I bought my GSA at Wolf BMW, I get a loaner bike when I bring my bike in for service. Had I bought somewhere else, well I would not be getting a loaner.

check this out, for sale on kijiji today...(not mine).

Yeah but not always...I bought my F800ST at Toronto BMW for that reason..a few weeks later they dropped the loaner bike program and for my 1000KM service they rented me a Nissan Versa instead....being that I had an Audi Quattro winter car and a Porsche cabriolet at home...I wasn't too impressed with the Versa! Could've at least been a 3 series! Hell a Mini would have been ok!

I guess the only inconvenience is getting a ride back from the dealership. I dropped mine off for it's 20k service and i'm really happy with the dealership I went to. Everything was straight forward and they do have a loaner program. If I was in the market to buy new I would definitely consider it. Having a loaner would have made it much more convenient to make it home. That said I saved a ton buying used and put the money saved towards some farkles (suspension).

Screw loaners. Get on Budd's mailing list. In the off season, they have a on and off program depending on how busy they are where they will come to your place to pick up and drop off the bike at your place for free.

I figure I'm getting azzzzraped anyways from them, its the least they could do.

Once you build a rapport with them, if you ask nicely, and the trailer is out in your area doing a delivery anyway , sometimes you can work something out where they will come get.

Budd's is the place. (and I didn't buy my bike from them either!)

Hey Sandro...kind of doubt they will be going by my place just south of Barrie anytime soon....plus when you are promised something when you purchase a product it kind of sucks when they tell you...." oh we don't do that anymore " that was last month!
