Not many useful new things, IMO. The biggest thing is probably the new Android runtime, but developers are still not porting their existing apps over as it is. Priority Inbox is useless for 99% of the population. The quick-response system is okay, but doesn't apply to all message types. The Natural Sound thing on the Z30 is a decent feature, if you're into that sort of thing - I never use the speakers on the phone. The lock screen notification listing is only useful in certain circumstances - most of the time you wont see if because you're swiping up to the homescreen, or swiping up to the lock screen.
I work downtown and more and more I see people with both a BB and iPhone out at the same time. The BB is because they are forced to. The iPhone is what they like. I never see people with BB and Android out at the same time.
The one thing that pisses me off about the updates is having to connect to a wi-fi to do it. Is there a way around this?
Keep in mind they're refocusing on the business market, so you get unmatched battery life, great audio for conference calls, and everything else that makes sense to people for whom the phone is a tool.
Install BlackBerry Link on your computer, and plug your phone in.
Missed my point, why can't you use your own data plan?
I don't own a computer.
I get that.
However if you have the data available then it'd be nice to say "thanks but no thanks", and just download.
I just don't understand why this is not an option( I'm hopeless when it comes to this stuff tho). Default to wi-fi, but be able to toggle that setting.
