My fav colour combo! Love those wheels in that colour. However one requirement I have is ABS, and unless I’m wrong the FZ07 did NOT come with ABS. only the MT07. Could be wrong though.

as i recall they came with abs in 2017+

Honestly never even considered it. It showed up in a few searches but never checked. The Versys 650 also shows up but I’m not convinced on that one.

The Suzuki v-twin definitely has a different character/vibe than the parallel twins which makes it worth considering.

Zero chance that will go down to my budget. Zero. LoL.

I've seen recently that very few people are willing to haggle. Typically it's like $100-200 off their price.

@Ash I also forgot that the SV650 is very similar to the Gladius 650 which is a nice style / design IMO.

Well I'm confused!

Honda sucks...but the Africa Twin is good
Ducati great, but all the ballers going for the Africa Twin (and DCT to boot!)

Forget branding and just get whatever speaks to you.

First of all, be honest about what you want out of your bike. If you want character then you need to be ready to potentially throw practicality and maybe reliability out the window (see Ducati). If it's not going to put a smile on your face, or melt your balls off everytime you ride it, then it's not going to last long.

The twin is great and it even sounds pretty good, but i would not say it has much character. It's just a damn good bike.

I would say the AT has plenty of character, it sounds good, has a nice, uneven firing order thump to it.

I understand the overthinking, but If its in decent running condition(not mint), HIGHLY unlikely it will explode the second you buy it.

This is the crux of the issue and was the cause of another thread IIRC.

What defines character for one person is/may not be the same for the next guy.

Someone wants to tell me the AT has character after coming off an SP2? I'm just going to laugh at them. (not you BP)
