How/where do I bolt on the extra 50cc to my XSR?
Everyone knows the answer to that........
Corrected.How/where do I bolt on the extra 50cc to my XSR?
that is crazy good, guess I need to call TD2014 Triumph Street Triple R - $1011
Yeah what the heck. Every time I have called about a Street triple, I get a "surcharged" quote.that is crazy good, guess I need to call TD
Maybe the person on the phone mixed up street and speed for you? They sound similar.Yeah what the heck. Every time I have called about a Street triple, I get a "surcharged" quote.
show us on the doll where @NFP Moto touched you.2 weeks later you buy the bike and they suddenly can’t find them in their records, you’re paying an extra 300$ or worse you get a chick named Sandra with a bad attitude who tells you the bike is restricted.
Street triple r is probably a real fun rideFor kicks I checked the Triumphs....
2018 Triumph Street Twin - $970
2014 Triumph Street Triple R - $1011
Better than I expected.
Glad I don't live in the ghetto those rates are crazy. The KTM is 800 a year in the monster is 500 with TD. The other KTM and the Kawasaki are both around a hundred.OK...had about 30min to kill so I called TD and asked a few things....
#1 - there is no 'gap' in experience with them, so long as I stay with them as I've been w/ TD for over 11 years. So...1-2-5-6 months without a bike doesn't matter (I asked the guy to put that in the file)
#2 - Annual insurance
2015 Ducati 821 - $1700
2018 Yamaha XSR700 - $1180
2018 Suzuki VSTROM650XA - $1190
2015 HD Sportster 883 - $1070
2015 Moto Guzzi V7 Racer - $752
2012 Ducati Monster 796 - $1110
Previous:
2007 Ducati Monster 797 - $1069
2019 Ducati Scrambler - $1043
That 821 looks to be further and further out of reach.
Yes...the guy asked me 3 times to confirm it's 'STREET' not 'SPEED'...Maybe the person on the phone mixed up street and speed for you? They sound similar.
best advice I can give y’all, get the quotes in writing, via email or something… you think you’re getting a good quote, 2 weeks later you buy the bike and they suddenly can’t find them in their records, you’re paying an extra 300$ or worse you get a chick named Sandra with a bad attitude who tells you the bike is restricted.
Once I get to the stage I'm about to drop a deposit, I'll do the same. Until then, this is just to get an idea of what's what.Absolutely. I get all my quotes by email for the record and refuse to discuss over the phone unless its to close the deal. I don't understand why any broker wouldn't want their clients to to the same since everything gets spelled out, but there are still some out there.
Td quotes are binding if you get them over the phone providing the info you provided is accurate. Generally they will forward an electronic quote.best advice I can give y’all, get the quotes in writing, via email or something… you think you’re getting a good quote, 2 weeks later you buy the bike and they suddenly can’t find them in their records, you’re paying an extra 300$ or worse you get a chick named Sandra with a bad attitude who tells you the bike is restricted.

If it changes, and your info doesn't change, escalate the call. They record every call, a manager will review and honor.
I consider that a shortcoming of their system. But it helps if you change the quote at the end of the process, instead of starting new onesTD's web quotes are accurate based on the large number of quotes I've run through it. I embarrassingly found out when I called in to commit to a policy for my Hawk tears ago - the person on the phone was going though all of my quotes trying to figure out which one was the one I wanted. He told me that web site is linked tot heir actual quoting system, so as long as your inputs are accurate, so is their quote.
I have on other occasions and TD is consistently cheaper thanks to my PEO discount. No one has ever come close.Have you called other ins providers to compare? Desjardins was FAR cheaper than others for me.
