Bike with Less Character

I had a chance to try out a Sargent seat this weekend. Not long but I feel like it would serve well on long trips.
It was on a different bike (Kawi Versys 650) but I believe it would feel the same or very similar on all bikes as the material/cushion is most likely they same.

I believe your bike is the same as the 2017+ model so you have a greater range of years to get used seats from.
Check the StromTrooper site often and I am sure one will come up. I think someone is selling a seat for a gen 1 currently.

Very cool, yes sounds good. I was planning to reach out to you because I wanted to compare bikes. There's someting about the shifting on this bike which I'm not sure about, something seems off. But not sure.

Currently, there is a Corbin for sale.
Maybe a little rich on the pricing for used but its there.
Has red thread showing which would clash with your yellow.

No the original V-Strom was designed by Suzuki Germany.

"Strom" in German basically means a powerful stream or flow.

The genesis for Vstrom is the DR Big (DR750). It’s also the inspiration for the KtM 690, right down to colours.
 
I love the look of the new VSTROM and new VERSYS.

Those will be in my garage at some point in time.

Looks like an Airhawk, on beads, on a stock seat. Love the AirHawk seats for my bikes. Haven't put it on the Ducati due to the nice Mustang seat.

They remove so much feedback and make the bikes taller, I prefer to just tough it up and no longer use mine

I thought so too...but the issue that I had was I was overinflating it, causing me to 'float' on the seat which I hated.

I just reduced the amount of air I put into the seat, and then bingo bango and it was a MUCH better and 'planted' feel.
