Bike Stolen!!!Brand new 2011 Zx6r

I say it again and again, if you're going to park your bike in an underground parking garage, be prepared to have it stolen, or purchase some anchor chain to wrap it onto a post.

This is not the case. I actually had a detective call me for more details regarding my theft. Apparently motorcycle thefts have gone up dramatically and they have launched a new division to try to crack down on these #$%^ers

Chains are cut and alarms ignored/ disabled. If they want it they will take it. Having a self powered GPS/ wifi locator like IDLINK is a plus if you wants them found and prosecuted otherwise just make sure your insured. Even locators can be jammed with cheap cell / GPS jammers . . . . Theves are always one step ahead of the game; the good one's anyways. $#^^er!!

I like the IDLink system, out of all of the available options, I think it's the only choice of having any hope of getting your stuff back.

Mine was hit in the Tridel buildings right across from Kipling station on September 12, same minivan it sounds like. Couldn't tell in the video if it was silver or beige. 2 guys, 10 seconds to load my R6 into the back and be driving out. They passed 7 other bikes on the way down to the P4 level of my building before they got to mine. Cops actually showed up to my place though, 6 hours later. Apparently they came because they have created some new task force that is targeting the rise in motorcycle thefts.

Wow, I'm glad I moved out of that building. The buildings are nice, the condo board are a bunch of old and clueless retards.
