Bike Stolen!!!Brand new 2011 Zx6r

It happened today between 10AM - 5PM in Etobicoke. I bought it brand new about a month ago from Kahuna. The bike had only approx. 2800 Km. Good thing i have full coverage, so hopefully insurance won't screw me too much.

Oh and it was stolen from an underground parking lot with security cameras of course. Don't have the video from the super yet. Also i called the cops and they didn't bother showing up, just said that the super should send them the video. WTF do we pay taxes for, for them to eat donuts!!!!

Ah well my pride and joy is gone. I had so many plans for next summer. FML.
 
The tapes won't help you, their license plates were stolen.

Nice bike, hopefully the insurance company treats you well. 2013 636 as a replacement? Sweeeeeeeet.

Avoid posting your license plate on the internet, like in the video you linked. For $5 I can get your address from it.

lol Yea i know, but i am posting the video after the bike was stolen.
 
Sorry for your loss....underground parking seems the worst place to keep a bike.

i understand your frustration, but lets be realistic... what can the police do?

Sorry about you bike, but how many other bikes have you heard about getting stolen from an underground garage this year?
 
Sorry your bike was stolen. That mess just sucks. When I was parking my bike in sketchy areas I used to use a big *** chain and lock. (just saying). Of course 4 guys can easily pick up a bike and stuff it into the back of a van. There are some great locks out there that you can bolt to the floor of the garage. I can't see a thief cutting through them; when all they want to do is steal and run. They almost always look for an easy target. :(
 
there were two guys in a sliver dodge caravan. They picked it up like a box. Oh well no more bike for me until i move.

NO!!! i want you to pay them to get on their $%#@ a** and do something about it. You call for a small domestic dispute 10 of those $#@! will show up. Its not just one bike stolen, so many have been stolen in the past month, something MUST BE DONE!!

AND DON'T TELL ME AGAIN THIS WHAT CAN COPS DO BS, if you have nothing to say just shut it!!!
 
Its unfortunate your bike was stolen but hopefully insurance sorts you out right and you are not out of pocket in any way.

Its just too easy to steal a supersport and find a good use for it once its been taken - make it a track only bike, part it out, ship it.

If you really want a bike less likely to get stolen, buy a cruiser. I'd like to see two guys and a van try and steal a 870lb HD Electra Glide Classic.
