There's another guy who does the same thing on Tail of the Dragon, the issue there is usually Harley's trying to corner and hitting luggage, none of them wear any protection.

"nrickeymouse" has a Youtube channel on a decreasing radius turn on Mulholland drive in LA. He just sets up a camera on weekend and sees 4-5 guys fall. Some very expensive high powered bikes owned by people who should not be riding.
In Britain, a study released last week showed that >40% of bike crashes were rider "loss of control". 20% is from right turns (our left turns). 10% from U-turning cars. Loud pipes won't save any of that.
Keeping off roads friday night to sunday morning will drop your chances of getting killed in a huge way. 50% of all fatalities happen at night due to alcohol.

Biggest worry when riding after midnight.... Especially if its a drunk driver driving with no headlights....
 
My .02, two accidents:

1. At red light rear ended - takeaway - none

2. Rain + streetcar tracks + slight curve + change lanes = down so fast was shocking. Takeaway - don't change lanes over streetcar tracks on a curve in the rain...

Plus assorted dirt bike wipeouts ...

Try driving/riding in this city at about 2-5 am on a friday or saturday night. Guaranteed to see a few F****d up people...
