Biggest political lie

Different lie, yes subject morphed, but at the end of the day we're talking about institutions gone mad.
Routine surgery bumped for 4 days due to incoming emergencies. There's got to be a work around for that, those 4 days cost money for zero return.

If people stopped abusing the system just think of the resources that would free up! If people didn't go to the ER for a common cold or paper cut......

I'm armchair no expert, but the CRN (clinical resource nurse manager) sitting on the couch next to me that read your original post would be.

I think it's pretty obvious based on some previous comments that he has no idea how it works. Blaming the nurse is like blaming the snow plow driver because your road didn't get plowed early enough, or like blaming the kid pumping your gas for high gas prices. Pretty stupid.

Maybe. I heard numbers like small percentage people use largest percentage of medical services never mind the waste. One hour interview by Steve Paikin of the Agenda with health care system analyst (Simpson?) make you hurl about waste gone mad.

I'm sure there is a lot of internal waste, excess management, etc, but let's not fool ourselves into thinking that the public is not another source of waste and needless resource consumption.

Ouch. Last I heard a simple broken arm costs $25G all in. I wonder what a fully crashed motorcyclist costs? And here's the kicker, some people claim bikes are only toys. I don't like where that's going.

Don't even look at that slippery slope!

If I recall correctly my broken collar bone and surgery was $18,000.
