Also, I should add that he's complaining about the rims.....which I charged 100 dollars to do.

There's the proof I agreed to refund him. And he proof he got his labour money back, why is this thread still here ?

and as far as Daves shop i stopped dealing with him cus he ripped of a member here for $800
and also ripped me off for a full year of cell phone service that i have pre paid for him as a favor since he had no money and work was slow
i had to recover that with my credit card company
and again i have all the prof of that

please get ur story strait cus i have it all on paper

now how does this happen....

nothing matches if you ask me, and I am no expert on handwriting

I think we need the guy's and gal's from CSI......

what claims are dubious
wheels are open for inspection by any one here
this is my 4th offer on that
no one wants to take it
so until there is solid prof did i did any touching up i suggest stop attacking me

It doesn't matter what the wheels look like now. No one can verify what happened to the wheels between when you picked them up and when you took the pictures of the flaws.

Your claims are dubious for the following reasons

TJ is know for great work and awesome customer service
Your pictures of the contract have the names backwards compared to TJ's
Previous threads mentioned were everything has been edited
TJ's response paints a different picture

There is also allot of extra details in the review that alludes to you being threatened or feeling threatened. You didn’t just post a review of work it seemed more like character assassination and well poisoning.

You can clearly see the clear coat smudges
And plenty of dust
And the front wheel you can see the black paint under the red
How do you suggest I did that ?

Op....WHY on earth would a shop make false signatures??? it's not like he took your bike and crashed it in to a wall....He simply PAINTED your rims made a couple bucks doing so. WTF doe's he need to cover up ??? FBI search on PAINT CHIPS? You going to sue his *** for a million dollars for Paint chips ?? is that why he made false signatures.... i don't get it ? what does he gain by doing this ??

look all i did was post a review
what is all this with the personal attacks ?
it was TJs choice no to do the rest of the job
whole job was $1200
i gave him $640 deposit
only thing that was finished was the wheels this im clearly not happy with
and part of the stuff got sanded down
TJ gave me $200 refund for the work that he did and i was promised $100 for the wheels that i never received
why are you all trying to pile on me ?
this is the web where we got to post good and bad reviews
mine was bad so read it and make your own decision if this shop is right for you
there is rly no need to attack a person for voicing his or hers opinion
You want PERFECT show quality work for $1200? I'm not judging this review or TJ's work. But if you could get show quality for that price...wow!

enough with the trolling. OP posted a review. Someone didn't like it. unless you were there for the whole exchange you can't possibly know the truth, so knock it off.

Thank you
This make more sence then any of the other people's input
There is always 2 sides to a story
One is real and the other one is fake
I'm here offering all the information I have
And willing to let a 3rd party come see the wheels
To make an impartial opinion
No one is willing to steep up and do this
All you guys wanna do is bash for ur own entertainment

And TJ has had his chance to respond as well as other board members. Readers can make up their own minds on TJ's work based on this and other threads.

Enough said

At least one member of this forum, who has responded to this thread (and it wasn't me), DID see those wheels in person at TJ's shop after they were painted and before they were picked up.

It's not a matter of "not liking" the review that was posted ... it's that the review that was posted is not consistent with the experiences of others (and that does include mine) and based on what that other forum member saw, could be way off base. This is a discussion forum ... if that means calling out the OP for potentially being a bad customer, so be it.

(Side note: How are the wheels in question available for inspection if the OP has traded them off? Not that it matters ... plenty could have happened to them between the paint job in question, and now.)

On second thought ... I haven't been smart enough to use the OP's methods. So there ... TJ owes me a full repaint on my vintage race bike. It has fingerprints on it now, and dust has collected on it because I can't ride it. :D
