I'm getting the itch for something different. I'm thinking a cheap older bike WITH the SV, like I have enough garage space now. Gotta be something with leg room.

Lol, damn according to visordown...I must be the shiit. Lmao
It is possible to dress for riding and still have a good sense of style...
No excuses people!!!
I can understand the prescription glasses for folks but sun glasses
with clear visor does look awfully funny to me...just sayinnn...
I pretty much agree with the list except for the sunglasses and the matching gear for your pilon.. nothing wrong with wearing sunglasses. That said I don't because a tint shield is way more comfortable. And having a pilon with matching gear looks good. We aren't talking matching leisure suits while walking in the park here..
EDIT: the only problem with matching gear is it gets expensive! I originally bought two cheap helmets for the wife and I.. I'm now looking to upgrade to a decent 300ish dollar helmet.. the wife doesn't ride half as much as I do and doesn't really need an upgrade, but I want them to match so it's gonna be 600 plus!
What about a zillion stickers all over your bike ... or the guy with a sons of anarchy everything . .. no joke .. sticker on helmet .. patch on riding vest .. the whole kit and kaboodle.... lol
I guess that I too am guilty of having reflective rim tape on my old rims but I did it for safety reasons and it looked alot better than just bland black rims...
I am also guilty for having matching helmets, jackets & gloves...I like the colours & I don't give a flying **** what others think!
Wow if you are still in high school then this list matters. If you still live in your parents' basement then this list matters. If you have a job and pay the expenses for your bike then everyone else can go **** themselves.
So long as you ride within yoru limits then enjoy biking. Even if you do pose at Timmies it is your money and time and nobody's business.
Bike has factory rim tape, and I'm fine with it!
Sunglasses under the helmet are a prerequisite, I don't care if anyone's laughing.
I'm surprised the "chick riding passenger leaned over on a gixxer and showing off her t-bar" isn't on that list?

Why does anyone feel the need to make a list of what they think is acceptable and not acceptable when it comes to fashion? Wear what you want, be who you want to be, poser, leather clad pirate, super racer in one piece suit going to get groceries... if you like it, then its a win for you. Enjoy it how you want to, all this worry about so called rules that are asinine are a waste of time, much like my post.
