Are you guilty of any of these motorcycle fashion faux-pas?

Went out on a date with a guy who asked me what I would do if he went for a bike ride with me and he showed up shirtless. Like dude really?!?!

I don't really understand why people think riding 2 up is about humping each other...

I wear sunglasses inside my helmet all the time. Hell of a lot easier to carry around sunglasses in my pocket then an extra tinted shield.

Fashion faux-pas? Ugh..motorcycling becomes skiing... :-(

I wear my prescription glasses in my helmet and they're transitions so when it's sunny they look like sunglasses :( Other than that I'm not guilty :)

rim tape here, but i love rim tape.
plus wearing gear inside a mall...am i supposed to bring a change of clothes in my bag and change in the parking lot before i go inside to buy something which takes 5 minutes? lol

How about just wear what ever the **** u want and not care what anybody else thinks of you? I don't give a rats *** whether others like what I got on or not. As long as I am wearing proper gear for my own safety and looking out for me, I don't care what someone else thinks or what they have on. If they want to take the risk of road rash or worse, that is up to them. Not smart....but their choice. Just ride and enjoy yourself!

sunglasses for sure, whos got the money to spend on a tinted visor?? and really i dont wanna have to carry around an extra visor when i ride. i also got rim tape but never seen that as a no-no, unless its done poorly but mines good

In my experience people who are more worried about how they look on their bike then actually riding only make the trek to timmies and back or cruise downtown Toronto and back. I have a buddy like that. Ducati monster 750 with the Ducati jacket, boots, gloves blah blah blah, looks like a badass in his opinion, but he also tells people he has a sport bike (its not) how fast he is (he's not) and the riding he does (to a bar within town and back). He refuses to ride with me anymore because of a time he couldn't keep up with me on an on-ramp. I wasn't even going fast, I had one hand on the handlebars for god sake dogging it for him. When I asked if that was the reason he hasn't asked to go for a ride I a long time (not that I care) he said it was because my bike was old and ugly and girls will never approach us because of it. I ride strictly solo now. No one to give a damn about but myself and the hell with fashion. I wear what's safe and what I like, so the &%$& what?

Edit. You should have seen him when he had his fatboy before the Duc!
This is my signature

I find sunglasses to be uncomfortable and prefer the tinted visor.

guilty...i thought my camo's were bada** when i was wearing them...

don;t get the glasses...i used to wear glasses and switched to a tinted visor for comfort reasons, not looks

Very true, they slide down, put dents in the side of your head and sometimes irritate the ears but until they come out with a visor in my Rx, I'm stuck being uncomfortable with either tinted or clear glasses. I wonder if there is a specific style of rim that caters to being inside of a helmet? I'm thinking of taking my helmet with me the next time I get new glasses.

Wiley-X sunglasses are supposed to be available in prescription. They have a variety of styles, including short ear stem versions that are perfect for under a helmet, and are shatter resistant.

Eeeexcellent!

Love wearing jeans inside my boots. Now to add to my fashion accident with a pair of these.

Thanks for the link!

Guilty of wasting half the day of work reading this thing..

I wear cotton over my mesh jacket some times and like how it looks so I don't feel guilty of that.. Maybe will be guilty of Rim tape ...

So basically it says if you do anything beyond wearing a t-shirt and flip flops, you look like a moron. What a **** article.

Why in the hell is jeans into boots stupid? Thank god I do not think fashion is very important. I think jeans over my shin high touring boots would look ****ing retarded. Then again they only fit tucked in. -_-
