Are you guilty of any of these motorcycle fashion faux-pas?

Visordown magazine went out of business, thier online e-zine isn't much better. Wasting space printing crap likely this is why.

I never leave the house without sunglasses, no fauxpau there ever.

I'm waiting for my visors to come in the mail so new helmet + sunglasses is all I have for now. I actually don't mind it at all. There's been times where I didn't need them and it's nice to not carry another visor.

I admit to rim tape and maybe exhaust wrap on my old bike.

jeans into boots is totally acceptable if the cuff does not fit over the boot. However, no self-respecting man should ever where a pair of jeans that will not fit over a boot.

Hi-Viz should be encouraged, not mocked.

- Rim Tape: I did it and yes, I did it in white to match my bike. But it's reflective so more night time visibility and it just looks good. Cryoo, online mag, cryooo.

- Sunglasses: I used them quite a bit with my Nexx Helmet because I'd rather not ride being blinded. Not quite sure why it's a bad thing to do. Now that I have my Arai with dark smoke insert, it won't be necessary.

Half of that list doesn't make sense though.

I suppose high viz might be a little goofy, but in the rain at night it can mean the difference between life and death. There are a lot of people who cannot see well driving cars.

Well said.
Who the *** died and made Visordown.com an authority (on anything)?

Wait a minute ! There seems to be a lot of fellow BMW rider pictures in there. What are youse guys tryin to say. Do we all look like bavarian redneck hillbillies? Wait ,don't answer that.

for the longest time I've wanted white lettered tires on my moto tires- even went to staples to find out if they had white mrkers tht stick to rubber..

also, IMHO- adding an aftermarket exhaust is the biggest motorcycle 'faux pas'

My faux pas from the list is exhaust wrap but in my defence it was only wrapped at the part where the leg passes on the high pipe Scrambler. Purely functional. Used only one season as it made servicing difficult. Sporting DIY heat shield now.

Absolutely nothing "goofy" about high viz gear or helmet, whether riding in the rain or not. Simply a matter of choice.

I like my high viz backpack and rain gear, my iridium visor (on a variant) and my mx boots look way better with jeans inside them than they do covered by jeans.

Who cares!
