April Friday 13 Port Dover

What route will you guys be taking? 403 to hwy 6 and in to Dover? Or 403 to hwy 24 through Simcoe then across 6?

Depending on what way I may just wait for ya guys, considering you're leaving at 11 you'll be hitting these spots anywhere from 12:10 to 12:40ish... Then again group rides seem to always take longer.

What bike will be leading the group?

Do you guys have a set time to leave Dover? I might make my way there depending what time I'm done work.

Not sure how long everyone is staying - I'm not staying too long. It's too cold for me to ride after the sun goes down ( yes, I know I'm a wuss) plus I have to be up at 4am Saturday.

I have no idea who want's to lead the ride, but I guess I will if anyone doesn't step up because I am not familiar with Dover and the areas.. I'm sure someone will come up at Tims lol. Don't be shy.

Charging my ContourHD batteries at the moment

I'm aiming to be back in Toronto as the sun is going down as well...

Lanny,
You started the thread, I think people expect you to lead. Take the easy route, Google it .

Any newbies should be reading the "How to ride in a group" sticky just above this thread.

Show up with a full tank and empty bladder @ the meet point. Your bike should be in good mechanical condition.

Don't ride like an ***. Take it easy. Have fun. I'm not going, gotta sleep.

Those not going, watch here.

And yeah, that's the route I was going to take.

I am heading back too before the sun gets down too.

Anyone heading out in the next hour or less? I am in Stoney Creek and looking to head out.

Already down and back. It's PACKED! Lots of people out, there are a group of women dressed as KISS, and well done too. Thong man is out, in a pink thong and wearing bunny ears...

Lots of cool old military bikes, nice to see.

July 13th is coming up soon. It will probably be busier than today as it is in the summer and the weather should be warmer (if it won't rain).

Just got home, effin beat.

Here's how the turn out was. 30+ bikes.

Seems that people don't post in. :P

Anyways, 11AM at Timmies 403/Dundas parking lot (bike side) was packed.

Met up with everyone, people thought I was some mc gangster. No, I'm nice, I just like the devil.

Anywho, so we decide to leave on point 11:00AM, geared up, peed out, coffe in out tummies.

Headed Westbound 403, managed to get 4 riders behind me, and in a quick 1-2 minutes, the whole 30 bikes packed up and was in lkine formation.

What I was impressed is everyone knew their signals, and procedures. Thank god noone spilled.

Then 403 straight to Hwy 6, we still had the pack going.

Then, it was just clutch in clutch out, clutch held just around Hamilton area? We decide to get a quick break at the Timmies.

We then figured there was a detour. I don't know your name, so I will call you scooter guy because you were the only one ripping that scooter with a gps.

You then lead the pack, the hald got stuck and split at the stop sign because of traffic going both ways.

We manage to make a left in some small road, and then took some small roads around, and we friggin found you guys magically.

We then head out back on HWY 6, and from then, no problems.

OPP pulled over 3 Harleys with massive 'ape hangers'.

We didn't get in trouble. But they took pics of everyone who entered down.

We then noticed it was packed and couldn't find parking until we saw gravel and a end of the road. We parked our bikes there.

There was about 16 of us at the moment. Scooter guy and his buddy left. And 2 other guys.

Down the group went from 30+ to about 12.

We walked straight and somewhere then ****** in the pottys.

The GTAM gang then head out to Subway cause we hungry!

Sat out on the curb like a cool gang. Told some lies and all.

Met up with another CBR rider John. We named him John 3.

We peed again in another potty.

Alppy(black ninja 250r) had some girly scented bath and body works hand sanitizer.

Told some jokes, then took a pic with Elvis. I forgot your name, John(red/white f4i?) who had the iphone group pic.

After that, me being the only cruiser guy, I wanted to get a Dover April 2012 patch. Found one with the help of the gang.

Walked around, got near Hell Angels booths. That's when we wondered why there was so much OPP around.

After that, we decide to look at the beach, and some nerds with a huge *** sign that said "Show me your tits". Their plan totally did not work and looked like a huge sausage fest up on the balcony.

We then headed back to our bikes at around 4:30 ish and gassed up.

Some guys wanted to go for a ride, some guys had to go home and do some stuff with their wives. ;)

Anyways, we ended up planning to head back to Timmies at 403/Dundas and then see whoever wants to ride, stays. Everyone got tired eventually and split up.

Nic (blue 600 Katana), UJ (Black ninja 250r green rim tape), and I then road with other Scotty (blue ninja) and Alppy (black ninja 250r) to QEW. Scotty and Alppy went home via QEW, and UJ, Nic and I got off at Evans and filled up to make a trip to Lakeshore to Downtown.

We figured we go eat wings and food at St.Louis beside Eatons.

After that I went home on Yonge and UJ.

I apologize to you who rode the Harley at the back of the group, I didn't know where you went right after the Tims break. I also apologize to the other rider on the Silver Harley. We went on a detour and I wasn't leading and everyone had left. There were a couple of screw ups like that and how I didn't know how large the outcome was. If I knew there would be 30+ bikes, I would ask someone else to lead the second group too.
This was my first ever leading a big group on a long trip. In the end, everything went well and hope everyone had a good experience and ride.

Pics of my cell and videos from my ContourHD footage will be up soon.

Saw 'Elvis'. Saw a guy on a red & white F4i. Stopped at a HA booth. Saw the 'Kiss' chicks and the sausage-fest-tittie guys...

Missed this guy...AGAIN.
