Never been in Port Dover, never been in a group ride either ftw =)

I may be in.

I have to find out tonight first what day/time I'm leaving for Middle Earth, sorry Middle East that is.

Really hoping that cheapest flight is not on Fri =)
 
In the past years we have met at 6 ish and get there for 8 ish and its already getting jammed, the nice thing about leaving early is to get a spot right in the front near the main road ,so much easier to get out, every time we leave from there its kilometers of bikes lined up to get in and a disaster to get out if you aren't parked somewhat close to the main road.on a brighter note its def a must do if you haven't experienced it :-)

I'm still trying to work out a couple of things for work but i can definitely come out for the meet up. Back on a bike again haven't had it for a full year yet, but looking to meet some folks.
 
Anyone planning to ride down after work? A friend of mine finishes at 5pm and doesn't wanna solo it down.
I'm planning to leave with the group in the morning...
 
Hey guys, anyone want to volunteer to lead the group? This will be my first time going there and not really familiar with the roads.

Also I am hearing that it will get packed because the weather and it will be the second last event there.

I am also out for the July 13th due to vacation..

I might head out from work at noon from DT, if anyone is interested...actually **** it I'll solo there, be faster. Might be up for the group ride back though, PM with a number if you want to group back. I'm still up in the air if I can get out of work.
 
Well I am out, apparently having a bike with California plates and insurance, but an Ontario licence accompanied by RIV paperwork is enough to warrant some potential hassles if I get stopped and checked by the police, or so says my lawyer friend. Oh well... I don't do crowds well anyway.

Not that I've gone a whole bunch of times but, the cops are generally pretty good. I heard rumors of spot checks for loud pipes etc but, never actually witnessed anything. But, I suppose it's best not to put yourself in a situation that could result in some harrassment, tickets, court etc.
 
I'm out guys.
I have a bunch of things I need to get done in the morning and I would have to leave Simcoe pretty early to get to the meet spot just to ride back pretty much right past my house again. I will be down there, I just gotta get my race trailer finished up is all.
 
I'll meet up with you guys prior to taking off but i have a buddy from barrie coming down to join. Depending on the time when he leave, I may just catch up with you all on the way out.
 
Sounds good... for those unfamiliar with the area, there's a Shell just down the street (Dundas, east of the Timmies, North side).
 
For those looking to come to Niagara/Buffalo do not forget to bring your passport, and look for a silver Burgman 650 at the meet spot (come say hi :) ). Am not looking to spend much time in Dover, will discuss what time to leave Dover @ timmies.
