Anyone Going To Port Dover Friday 13th?

sounds like a great time, I will try my best to miss it again.

If you've never been, IMO it's worth it just for the ride there. We left TO as a lone pair of bikes on the QEW. Along the way to began to encounter more and more. As we merged onto the 403, we were literally riding amongst a sea of hundreds upon hundreds of motorcycles. I've never seen anything like it, let alone been apart of it. It was surreal. The WTF looks from the cagers sprinkled throughout the pack were hilarious. That experience alone made the trip worthwhile for me, and something I want to do again with a helmet cam.

Dover itself was lame though.

I agree the ride in was awesome, people waving from their lawn chairs as the bikes roared in. I felt Dover a bit lame too, possibly because of the colder than usual weather.

Reread what I wrote.

It was my 3rd time to Dover for the 13th. I think for most, it's just being able to say you were there. I enjoy walking around and checking out the unique bikes that show up. Vintage, rare and strange are my favorites. Usually 2 to 3 hours is long enough though.

It was my first time and we got there late. Saw tons of bikes heading the opposite way lol. Only stayed at Dover for about an hour but it looked like a nice town... there are palm trees on the beach! Next time I'll go earlier for sure
