Went out last night with the GF in Hamilton. Her bike wouldn't start (dead battery) so she hopped on the back of mine and we went for a quick ride up the mountain. Saw 1 other rider heading up Wellington St N.

Went to the bike shop to see about getting a brake line made, some patched over cruiser dude pulled in for service. Temperature, road conditions and fogged up glasses were some of the discussion highlights.

Saw this person yesterday at Yonge and Richmond. I've seen him/her before on chilly days, so I'm not sure if it's needed transportation or trying to cure the winter blues.

Bike tucked away until all the salt is washed away and temperatures remain positive

+1 too much salt on the road, why bother going out now anyway?

That's my biggest concern. Usually takes 2-3 good rainfalls to wash away road salt, so not going to risk it. Might just spend the time detailing the bike instead.

Went out for a ride yesterday, mainly to test the new rear shock I installed on the FZ09 - took the wrong helmet so face a bit too cold on the HWY but with the Heated jacket and heated gloves it was a fine ride.

Nice...new rear shock ehh. I think a mod like that is a "must" on the bike
