Up 'til now, Tesla chargers have only had to communicate with Tesla cars which have "plug and charge" (via VIN communication) by default and whose owners have a Tesla account set up by default.
What's going to happen when they have to communicate with random cars which may or may not have "plug and charge" capability and with random payment methods ... remains to be seen.
It appears that the Hyundai-group vehicles can only charge at 50 kW when plugged into one of the Tesla superchargers with the "magic dock" due to some wierd compatibility issue.
The current Tesla charging stations are not designed for 800V-architecture vehicles.

Magic Dock for DC charging Ioniq 5 at Tesla...
Does anyone have experience using Magic Dock? The March 2023 issue of Motor Trend identified failures trying to charge an Ioniq 5 using Magic Dock. (We Plugged a Ford, a Hyundai, and a VW into Tesla’s Magic Dock Superchargers. Only Two Vehicles Charged.) Has the problem been resolved?
