Any GPS Apps that can avoid roundabouts?

When I commute to work I have to deal with numerous roundabouts. This normally is not an issue, except in the morning when everyone is acting foolish.
So it got me thinking, is there a GPS app out there that you can set it to avoid roundabouts?, I'd be interested in the route it would provide me as well as future routes.
I have nothing against roundabouts, they serve a purpose, just a thought that peeked my interest so I thought I would ask.

Thanks!

I am getting a vision. It appears to be Milton.

Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner. It is Cambridge.
As stated, I have no issues with roundabouts, Was just curious as I see many apps can avoid highways, dirt roads, tolls etc..
I even think Waze can avoid "difficult intersections" do we have those in the GTA?

Several times have I seen someone fail to yield on franklin rd roundabouts and almost cause collisions, the police have been right there to witness it and they just drive on by. What is going on with police these days?

Same thing as always just ratcheted up more. Some good ones and some serving out their time doing as little as possible. To be fair, justice system is doing nothing to help them. Almost everybody is catch and release. Cops are getting frustrated that no matter what they do, the bad guys are back on the street right away continuing to do bad things. I suspect most HTA tickets won't stick if you challenge them as when the courts resume there is no possible way for they to prosecute all the tickets in a timely fashion.

Well we've discussed alot of great points in the post!
But I'm pretty safe to assume no GPS app avoids roundabouts. Not all that surprised.
In some area's it is almost impossible not to hit one. From my office to the HD dealer it is 2.7 KM's and I have to go through 5 roundabouts and everyone has someone being an idiot..

Personally, I love roundabouts. Originally from London. Loads of them there. Even have one area that has 6 into another roundabouts as you approach the one main roundabout.

I haven't seen too much stupidity in one lane roundabouts. The two-lane roundabouts are a waste of space. You have to assume that the inside lane will turn right at any time without looking as that is what normally happens.

Just for fun, here is rural Kentucky. More education required.

I have no issue using them at all, they serve a proven purpose. Sadly many drivers here don't have a clue on what "yield" means.
The "me first" attitude really shows when you get to a roundabout in certain area's where it seems to be a contest on who can cut who off.

I can't count how many times, the car that should yield darts out in front of me (at the last second) all while giving me the dirty look, or they drift into what ever lane they wish (usually mine) or simply drive in the middle of both lanes.

Could not agree with you more. Idiot drivers. We have all met them.

my wife used to stopped at yield sign and waited for traffic to be cleared.

At least the 2nd guy landed in a cemetary

Don't forget about the polacs.

There are lots of videos of cars jumping roundabouts but very few (maybe none) of them successfully landing the jump.

Channelling his inner Pastor Maldonado.

It's such a simple concept to explain (treat it like a normal intersection, right lane can turn right or go straight, left lane can turn left or go straight, signal your intentions), but so many drivers can't wrap their heads around it, especially the signalling part.

I have a bigger beef with both the super cautious drivers who won't merge unless it's totally clear, essentially turning it into a stop sign, and the tailgaters who don't leave gaps for others to merge, also turning it into a stop sign when busy. The whole point is to keep traffic flowing, and when used correctly, they really work a lot better than stop signs or traffic lights. So much safer, too...

it should start with g1/m1 knowledge test. im unsure if it's even in the practice handout.

I've got a video somewhere of the traffic around the Arc de Triomphe. Multiple lanes; just a zoo. But, I didn't see any collisions.
Yes, they are nuts. I think the difference in the UK and most of Europe is aggresive driving is normal without any road rage. You have to push your way in and it is accepted. If you stop in or on a roundabout you are stuck there forever.
Pedestrains crossing the road there and a car is turning right, the pedestrain better be looking.

Funny story, myth maybe.
A police Officer saw a car in the roundabout (Hyde Park) and kept going round and round. The driver was frightend to move his position without getting hit. He got a Police escort. MMMmmmm.

Known fact.
In Paris, entering cars from the right have right of way. Nuts but it works.

To make it worse, we drive on the left hand side.
They tried an experiment in London all cars will drive on the right, if it successful Lorries will do the same 2 weeks later. Lol.
