Looks wise yes, I have not tried the new one yet for obvious reasons, but I'm sure it'll be high quality. I tried the GP Tech and it already had improved quality and it block noises better than the Ti-Tech.

It will most likely be cheaper. If sold to out side the country that Vat in the exporting country is deducted. So for a purchase from the UK or Germany, knock 20% off the inclusive listed price. You may get lucky and skip out on duty and tax as well. Half the time when I order from Europe customs let's it slip by! They nail me every time from the USA though!

A guy I know works for an AGV distributor, he saw it in real flesh in Italy, he told me it´s awesome.

I am thinking about ordering this helmet. before I do I want to make sure it's a safe place to order. I called the guys at champion helmets, they speak perfectly english and they seem to be professionals. Did you have any experience with them before placing your order?

Can't wait to see this thing in person, in need for a new helmet my HJC FS-15 Carbon helmet is nice but had a wee bit of an accident last year with some scuff/scrape marks on the clear due to a low side... so for those of you have alread ordered, what was the total damage?

I never bought something there, but a friend of mine got his Iannone replica from champion helmets a while ago. He got it for a good price and it took a week to get it ( no shipment costs) so the experience I have with them is good.

The total price is $1225 but you pay $122 (10%) for the pre-order. You pay the rest amount in January (90%). That's all I paid, they dont charge shipments costs or any other costs.

I'm very particular about things I own and unfortunately I usually have to see these things first before buy. Sucks to be me. :/

I can imagine you are not talking about 10 dollars. I preordered it because we get all the nice European/AGV stuff a half year later, that sucks! This way I get the helmet when it's still something really different.

I however will miss out on this opportunity, waiting to see what graphics he comes out with this year. The 5 elements did nothing for me...too much orange and green.
