Not feeling this one either. Although the shape is dead sexy, I'm not digging the print(carbon fibre look)

I have the gothic in white:rolleyes:

For that price I'd probably go with the custom 'Rossi face it' helmet, and instead of Rossi's face I would put Tyrone Biggums.
 
i like the helmet, but $1,000 is a bit steep for me.
 
Agree... for that money you can also buy some nice parts for your bike
 
Apparently, it is I who can't read - it's €80,00 just for the right to spend another €845 on the helmet.

Yay for not reading the fine print... :mad:

What a beautiful waste of money... imagine what insurance would say when you go to claim it!
 
Where are you guys seeing that high price, in that pic i see €80,00 listed under it, Euro's i assume?, 80.. not 800, isn't that just a couple to a few hundred US $?

I emailed them last week about this helmet, they said they will have the final price at the end of this week. So the 845 may not be the final price yet...
 
Am I the only one who thinks for 845 Euro AGV should be using REAL carbon fibre? (Unless it is, in which case my bad)
 
The Pista GP model is full Carbon. The Pista is carbon/kevlar/fiberglass.

This is the first of the new line so expect to see more models through the end of the summer and into fall.

It's really not that much for a helmet. Not insane anyway.... Try buying a high end auto racing helmet like....

That's a fair point... carbon fibre is always expensive, allthoug the 3-4 Gs like you say is ridiculous! Considering that, the PistaGP's price isn't that much. But it´s still quite a sum, for most people to pay that much for a helmet. But than again, how much would you spend on clothing and other gear? It doesn´t make sense to ride a sick bike, buy the nicest Dainese suit for 2000 dollar and buy a cheezy helmet of 400 dollar. In my personal opinion bike, clothing and helmet should be in proportion to each other to make a nice outfit. It's worth its money ; if you have it
