Another Beautiful Day for a Ride! Anyone else get out today?

I didn't go down forks but came home via mississauga road. Holy rough and totally wet. It was dry this morning when I left.

Yeah, bike could definitely use a wash. Oh well

Beautiful day out! Finally got the bike out of storage and what was to be a 15min ride I made into 1 hour or so up and down the 427, QEW, and side streets....felt awesome. So many bikes out there today!

I am waiting for a good rain to wash the streets before I take mine out but maybe tomorrow I might go for a couple I hours!

The teasing is overwhelming lol!

Was my third ride this season but first time seeing other bikes out :)

Seen at least 6 bikes on the 404 yesterday as I ran from 16th ave to Bloomington. The snow pack at home, (fenelon falls) is now down to about 24"..lol I was to storage unit yesterday. Pretty sure I seen the bike cover, hoping the bike is still under it. Today it is supposed to be up near 12 in Toronto but it will only get to about 6 in Fenelon. Still well below 0 at night. Too risky for me to begin commute, (black ice etc at 5 am)..lol

I think riding season has officially opened. :D

My sincere condolences to anyone who still has snow on their roads.

Finally went on my first street ride of all time(after warming up at the IKEA parking lot haha)!

Nice man! How'd you like it?? :D

A 10 minute test ride around the block turned into a 3 hour joyride yesterday:D

Funny how that always happens eh? I'm about to turn down my street to come home and I'm just like...ah one more time around the block! lol

I'm seeing a lot of bikes on the road! I envy you guys... Not getting the insurance and mto visit until the 15..

How are you liking your new CBR? Looks like loads of fun!

Just got back from a 2 hour ride, was a little cold up at about 90-100 but other than that was great to be out on the bike. Saw 3 or 4 other riders around Richmond Hill.

Well considering the only other road bike I've ridden is the CBR125(during the M1 exit course), this took some getting used to! Practiced some emergency stops and a few other things before setting off on the street for the first time. Didn't have the balls to get rid of the chicken strips though, with all the sand everywhere. Kept forgetting my signals and didn't really know exactly where to stay in the lane haha. I felt a little vulnerable with no cage around me, but you can see so much out of a helmet it's incredible! And going from 40 to 120 in a few seconds is quite exhilarating!

Can't wait to ride again! :D

Today was even better than yesterday... Riding season has finally begun.

Chicken strips should be the least of your worries... even more in Toronto. Ride safe!

Pssh don't worry about the chicken strips, you'd be a fool to start leaning into corners with the way the roads are at the moment. Just remember to always be seen, and expect to be not be seen by drivers. Keep a blocking position, and as for which tire track you should be in just kinda think about your blocker. For example if you're making a left turn at an intersection and you're in the left turn lane. It's best to be in the right tire track before entering the intersection. The reason to do this it to make yourself bigger than you actually are.

got out for a 10km rip around town here in barrie. saw a couple others out enjoying the nice weather as well. Riding season is officially open :)

I picked my new to me ride down in Tilbury today and had a nice ride home!
